Hope Rohit goes out of the Indian team after this West Indies tour.
You can make your millions in IPL. You are not good for international cricket.

Enough
by Rajesh Bangad on May 30, 2011 12:09 PM  | Hide replies

Enough of Sharmas, Tiwaris, Misras , Pandes. Already four Tamilian Iyer Bramhins like Badrinath, Ashwin, Murli Vijay , Abinav Mukund are in team. Team India is Bramhinised.

Badri, Ashwin, Murali vijay r not brahmins. Dont try to spread rumors. No matter what caste/religion/state a player is, if he is good let him get chances! Ashwin is really bowling good atleast better than bhajji, Badri is at his best so these two should get chance

At least they are all deserving and not there because of regional favoritism like was always in the 90s.. When you do not have talent you always speak like you did above. Empty vessels make more noise..

dhoni is not bramhin, gauti is not bramhin, viru is not bramhin, kohli is not bramhin, saha is not bramhin, zaheer is not bramhin the list can go. Look at talent rather than castes. I hope your roots are from UP or Bihar. Because no other indian can think as low as you. Shame, have u got your job on caste or talent. If caste then you are a burden to your organization itself.

Mr. Kumar- who gave u such a wonderful logic that only people from UP and bihar talk about caste and all the other states dont believe on castism?
first of all your critics should be based of specific facts and not on general comments. for your kind information- cast/religion are in root of all the states in the india.

Kumar - add the state of Tamil Nadu to UP and Bihar...I have never heard so much anti-Brahmin sentiment in any populace like they have it in Tamilnadu. I have no idea why so much hatred. I am neither from Tamil Nadu nor am I a Brahmin - but I have stayed in tamil Nadu and have heard them discussing how many Brahmins are there in Indian team from Tamil Nadu..and they say Srikanth is responsible for that!!!

Good topic for the TV Channels & specialist Commentators to discuss - and then invite sms from spectators to answer a question on Is the Indian Cricket Team "Brahminized" - Y for Yes and N for No: and then flash the responses ad nauseum so that such wise and well informed debates 'sanitise' the nation!!!

Hi Mr. Patanaik:

You are right, Sir! But it does not look like we will ever be - with all this talk about brahmin and non-brahmin and this State and that State (with IPL now really encouraging State supporters in Cricket and spectators not turning up in Eden Gardens because Dada was not playing!
We all "bloody rascals" will never learn to "first be INDIAN" - We are like this only!!!!!

Rohit is really useless player. Only who are either corrupted (like BCCI) or with out knowledge of cricket go after him.

Look at his stats. 61 odi, 27 avg., 75 strike rate......very very poor record.

If is he so called talented, why such a poor record he has?

The truth is that he is only club level player.

not consistent enough
by Jasvinder Singh on May 30, 2011 11:58 AM  | Hide replies

Rohit Sharma no matter how good a player he may be, has not really proved himself at the international level, inspite of quite a few chances. Rohit has only himself to blame. While bad performance can be blamed to bad form, there can be no excuse for bad fitness standards (a paunch !!!). It clearly means that he's not trying hard enough. The selectors should consider him again in the future only if he performs well at the domestic level.
