If he performs miserably with bat or bowl he will let that affect his captaincy and its vice-versa aswell.
Look at Dhoni for instance; he was having lean patch but he still did not let it affect his captaincy. People crticized him for that, most dont realize captain's primary responsibility is to see his team win - regardless of his individual performance.
Yuvi: I dont know what will it take for you to realize you are not a captain material by any stretch. This is only affecting your performance as a player.
Take a leaf from Sachin, when he realized that he was not a good captain he himself stepped down...
no matter what the situation in the field, the captain should never get into negative mood, it will only worsen further, should be balanced. we have seen many times, inspite of good players in the team, team loses becoz of bad captaincy

not only captaincy... good players have to perform.... for Pune if one batsman clicks other 4 are failing...atleast 3 to 4 batsmen have to click...

May be they have to change the captaincy. try Graeme Smith...
When they started with 2 wins, they changed the winning combination and started the loosing streak of 7 and still continuing...
In the first match against Chennai, Pune were chasing a moderate total, they were almost close. It was a best chance for them to pull a victory, but Yuvraj cudn't score and got out. later yuvraj admitted it was his fault,
In the last match against rajastan they had best chances of winning, they dropped Taylor twice, he snatched the victory from Pune.

moreover, he has not been able to utilise his best player..Uthappa..who has been crying time and again that he wants to open the innings..by the time he comes to the crease, the match result is decided
his face shows that he is doing some sort of favour or forced to be on field makes all sorts of faces and never pepup his team ... good player but definately a worstcaptain
