Does Ganguly need to prove anyhting ? Perhaps he has initiated the change process in Indian cricket - confidence and inducting talentat younger age etc.It was the foolishness of Greg Chappel which has done his career.When Ganguly is full flow there is nothing much more entertaining than his batting even all time great Sachin does not look as greceful.Personally I would not like Ganguly to play because I would cherish some of his great innings and this IPL is nothing but circus.buffons are used in circus to entertain the people.The hight of all this people are selected on the basis of this and which when they play with international sides they are going to flops as not so many catches are dropped and soon I hope to see 25 meters boundary what a joke it is !

Does Ganguly need to prove anyhting.......yes from time to time as we move forward, as things change/formats change, one needs to prove his mettle. Tell Dada to Learn from Sachin.......one cannot live on & on only on the heaps of past, not adopting to changes & thats the biggest mistake dada made during his career & it still haunts him. His EGO is much bigger for him to learn
He has been capin of indian team for so many years.One of the greatest indian crictet personalities.He should not take anything personal if he is out or in .Just play the game.
Good job Pune in roping in Dada. SRK did not have balls to say Dada was left out on purpose and said he does not make cricketing decisions. Total BS. Dada, when you play against KKR, hit a six and direct towards the SRK corporate box. That is the right jawab.

@ Shiv You are right buddy..he's a good even better player compare to many who are playing but his ego is something bad for the tems he plays in! It'll be interesting to see how he does in Pune!
There is not a single player from Pune in the team. The owner is not from Pune and their matches are held near Mumbai. I don't know whether this team has fans at all. If there are any, what exactly are they supporting the team for? At least now, with the big dada in the team, they will have some support from bengalis.

Yaar, why don't you people take this just as a sport? I'm from Haryana and the Delhi is like a home team for me but I support Mumbai Indians for Sachin and Rohit more than I support Delhi. I also support KKR for Gambhir & Tnedo and Punjab Kings IX for Gilli. I have my favorite players in different teams I don't give a damn if they are in another team next year but I'll support that team for them there as well. If you want all the Delhities in Delhi, Mumbaikars in Mumbai, Bengalis in KKR then what's the need of auctioning? Just get all the home playes in team without any drama! I don't know about others but that won't attract me for sure. BTW, I also like BRC because of Vettori and Gayle and Devillier and Delhi for Sehwag & Agarkar! So just enjoy the game yaar! What is that..no player from pune in Pune team, bengali in KKR team..whatsoever!

the owner of kkr is not frm calcutta..and apart frm manoj tewari and srevats goswami there is hardly any frm kolkata....similar is the case with other franchise

shout as nmuch as possible, fact will always remain intact - and that is Ganguly is the chief architect of modern Indian cricket.... and for your kind info - he had a lovely partnership with John Wright which gave Indian Cricket a new dimension....It seems u r a big time looser and therefore cannot digest someone's success! btw, I'm really enjoying your frustration!
