Tilakratne is definitely right. Match fixing is rampant.and was rampant.Pakistan lost to Bangla desh in World cup match and after losing the match captain Wasim Akram was smiling.Wasim Akram after being convicted by Pakistani judge for match fixing has been let off and made commentator. He is also the coach of KKR. Convicted match fixers are reaping the fruits of plum assignments

As long as Pawar remains the ICC president, there will be no action on match fixers. See what happened to Pakistanis players, four of them found to have fixed and caught red handed with USD in their rooms and not able to furnish the details of the same. Cricket has lost its royal value. Everyone wants to make quick money as they are not certain about their duration in the game. Make Hay while sun shine.

Yes, and so was each world cup after that, including the 2011 Mumbai Final, which India apparently won

Not really, Indian actor Kamalashan is also not a Muslim. Tilakratne is a Buddhist.
I think Tilakratne is doing a major mistake. the match fixing lobby sitting in Dubai is very powerful. He may either meet the fate the fate of Hansie Cronje or Woolmer, or Manoj Prabhakar.
Tillakaratne, currently a provincial politician from the main opposition United National Party (UNP), played 183 Tests and 200 one day internationals between 1989 and 2004. He captained the national team in 10 Tests.
