seemed like a fixed match with so many dropped catches
by tim jim on Mar 31, 2011 02:24 AM

even englad vs india match when shane warne correctly predicted a tie inspite of 300 plus score.

pradeep agarwal bookie seen in Indian dressing room in kotla inspite of being blacklisted by ICC.

though im happy that the team won but it all turns out to be a great tamasha.

Ever wonder how these crciketeres feel about the poor fans stuck outside the stadiums in heat or cold , while they sip bacardis in their AC homes or 5 star hotels.

yuvraj singh 100 then some 50s in this world cup and on his home ground a duck???

srilanka must be really confident seeing this performance

Any thing less than 290 scrore is highly risky
by Rajendra Gupta on Mar 31, 2011 01:58 AM  | Hide replies

In world cup and with strogn teams like srilanka anyhting less scored by any side is dangerous.India should imporve their batting. It was not impressive in Mohali.

G u p t a Rog j i,

It does not matter.

They would have won even if the target was 160.

This match and the whole tournament is fixed in India's favour!

India's wealth is showing its power!

Let this be a lesson to the young f o o l s in Park Kiss Tan >> Learn to make money instead of listening to your illiterate Mull Ah and trying to destroy everything!

Both countries started with the same resources and fortunes in 1947.

Where India has become wealthy and corrupt, Park Kiss Tan has become self-destructive and corrupt!

Park Kiss Tan, you could have won today if you had used your brains to build your future instead of just living to hate India!!

fortune favors well-supported team india
by check on Mar 31, 2011 01:42 AM

We Indians are sometimes too obsessed with what fantastic (or stupid if we had lost) stuff we did rather than more rationally analyze what really happened so that we can improve for next time.....thankfully our cricket team is doing it better than most of us Indians aided by some really good rational support staff from the West. Look, Pakistan bowled fantastically, Wahab Riaz was in Akram mould today and practically unplayable. So were the three spinners -Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi. Thank our stars that Sachin was let-off....classic case of fortune favoring the brave Sachin finally. We did not make the mistake Pakis later made.....going for all big shots and trying to finish in a jiffy....credit to Dhoni-Kirsten for knocking some sense into middle-lower order and Raina for his patient skills. finally, the inexperience and mental weakness of paki bats shone thru. our bowling-fielding was disciplined though not penetrative...no extras given. I was scared of ashwin not playing but today it helped due to weak Paki batsman and the crumbling low-bounce wicket. I think the man-of-match deserving was dhoni for his caiptaincy. he luckily did not make the mistake Azhar(1996) and Ganguly(2003) made. luckily, he is reading the game, situation and the conditions pretty well. hope it continues in the final.
