Interetsing to note that there is now praise for Ponting that he has stepped down as captain... if he had stayed on, there would have been criticism on ponting.

when someone steps down from their position its our duty to give their due respect for whatever they have done. Its human nature and thats the way it should be...
you are a gr8 batsman and a gr8 captain....you made Australia won 2 WC matches....and in your recent match againt your batting was awesome...and sorry this time the WC is India's so thats why you have lost... :-)
I got the tickets for the match tomorrow..am leaving now. I got them in black for a lakh..I bought 32 tickets. I sold off my 2 bedroom flat for the same.
