SUBROTO MUKHERJEE
India - Pakistan CWC2011 Semifinal at Mohali
by SUBROTO MUKHERJEE on Mar 30, 2011 12:03 AM

This match is turning out to be the mother of all matches. So much hype is created about this match by our media, politicians, film stars and even the Interpol, which is having a close watch and already given a clean chit that this time it is going to be a terror free venue. God knows how the players of both the teams are coping with this hype. After all we must salute them for their super human effort with which they will perform well in the match. Pakistan team is having a good time with the bowling department and they have convincingly defeated the opponents in the group matches as well as the quarter final. Their batting does'nt looks as much solid as compared to India but their batsmen have managed in bits and pieces. I feel that our maestro Sachin Tendulkar may get that 100th ton in this venue because the spotlight is shifted to the man in form - Yuvraj Singh. We should take this match as another game of cricket and our media should act responsibly and should be mature enough to cover the CWC2011. Nowadays, you surf to any TV news channel, one is not going to find any serious news except semifinal match at mohali. The guests expert and the news anchor are busy analysing this match - as what is going to happen if one combination is played or another. The media is playing villain and Shahid Afridi has quite rightly asked his boys to skip the News channel, because they are doing more harm than good.
Anyways, may the team who can withstand the pressure, deserves to win.

dumbstruck dilemmas awaits destined to devour destiny itself now.

With the doom day lurking large , emotions eclipsing atrocities , passions igniting ferocities , the cumbersome cacoethes of claustrophobia seems being awstruck by sheer sibling rivalries.Together we await the tornado , come , sweep us away into bliss coz we will weep with the willows of wisdom and intense gratifications, bless thy budding bestowed bifurcation of neighbouring beauties.
