sachin is not playing in the middle order and hence not contributing to the team performance. Players with lots of experience and good technique should play in the middle order so that they can adjust to the varying conditions and contribute. All coaches and captains are actually unhappy with sachin but they have to publicly praise him because of the clout of sachin. It is time for sachin to retire because he is not a team player. It is not the individual scores matters, it is how you perform when the conditions are bad from the innings point of view matters and sachin scores a zero there. Plus his contribution in bowling and fileding is zero now. He has become a cream eater, who eats the cream and walks away. Such people should be forced to retire.

dude.. he stopped bowling cos he had lots of injuries including tennis elbow... so he is doing what he is best with... and as for playing in middle orders...he has 21 yrs of experience and he knows whats best for team.... he was tried in middle during greg chappell's time and we saw what happened

You seem to be a big fool as you are contradicting your points only. you are saying that as he has good technique so he should come down the order and then you are saying he is a burden on team. how a player who has good technique can be a burden on team. and if you are saying he is not bowling, then gambhir, virat also dont bowl so should we drop them also. cmon man if you are typing something make sure it has some logic else you are just making fool of yourself.

sachin has experience that is also much valuable to dhoni as well as his 50 or 100 what ever comes as luck allows as on date sachin has played more than 400 OODs that is much more than 4 or 6 players in any team so to make use of that cumulative experience is in the mind of dhoni and his best friend harbhajan?

By the way where did u get the information that coach is asking him to play in middle order. Greg chappel forced him to play at that position in 2007 and in the end that world cup is just a bad memory for us. he has opened in 1996, 2003 and 2011 and see the result. By looking at the confidence with which you are saying that he is refusing to play down the order, it seems you are the coach of team and we fools were thinking it Gary kristen.

Superstitious belief. Pl. change your attitude. This kind of coincidence may happen to anybodys life. If we take decision like this, then we are out of so many good things.

I am also a big fan of sachin and respect him for all he has achieved, but unfortunately he has a bad luck that most of his centuries goes into vein and India loses. We'd love if you cant score another 100 and get India the cup, you deserve Bharat Ranta if you cod do that.

Atal Bihariji adviced Sachin in 2003 World Cup to play till last
by pravin sarode on Mar 24, 2011 11:26 PM  | Hide replies

Ball is bowled so this atalji advice is now applicable to all indians inclusive of sehwag and dhoni also as the next game is more of physological mind game so if ATALJI comes to mohali then his advice to sachin will be refeshed to play with cool mind till last ball on the indian wicket is the need of the next match so hats off sachin. Good luck to trace VERTICAL LIMIT 19000 in this calander year 2011 only at present Sachin climbing Vertical Limit 18000 because above that height late Ramesh Tendulkar may be there by mercy of God? We prayed God Ganesh for Sachin but tears broke out when sachin missed 100 so good luck to sachin for Mohali his favourite!
