Great to see the arrogant Aussies lose!
by nisha thoas on Mar 25, 2011 09:41 AM  | Hide replies

This victory should silence up a few team India critics, who say that they are more focussed on money and IPL. To see the likes of yuvi and raina sweating it out, dealing with short ball and the sledging, showed their commitment. And of course some so-called pseudo Aussie fans. Ponting was lucky to get a 100, he was clearly out twice before. And tendulkar was out to a no-ball.And the sledging was sickening. It would be interesting to see if the match ref take any action against tait and watson, who were clearly abusing our guys. They are quick to point fingers against the likes of harbhajan, for far lesser offences. All said and done, India firmly put the aussies in their place, and awaiting the semis :)

Sledging is since time in memorial for Aus, Stop grunting or cribing on that, and for gods sake Short ball is part of a game, as much as the lollypop spin, Every great empire falls one day, its not the fall but What one achieves before the eventual fall matters!!, and Lucky to get a Hundred!!,you played the remainign 112 balls for him apart for those two!!, Sachins was nota no ball, Watch with specs if necessary!!!

Well The raina inclusion is purely on the basis of IPL . Remember he has not game before IPL he has not played yesterday. After all next BCCI president will be the owner of Chennai Superkings . That is reason despite dhoni 's unwillingness's Ashwin has played because Ashwin is also part of Chennai Superkings. So he also need match practice Poor pathan and sree they are not part of cheenai superkings so they are suffering.

This is a far fetched theory. I don't think Aussies will give up WC for money.

Regarding "PRICE" of ticket, it is all market driven. If there are buyers then why not sell it for 5KK or even more than that. Do u have any idea how much is the price of a EPL footbll match in open market?

Cricket is business now. Totally a commercial venture. If u have an opportunity to make money from it then go ahead.

Thankx Om shanti for your kind words. Just think about it. With the IPL starting soon, you don't want india to lose in the QTs now. DO you ? What will happen all the crores of rupees to be made in the IPL if the indian public lose interest ? By the way, I am not a Poki, just a cencerned india who ones was a devotee of clean cricket.

LOL...he was lucky twice. ANd he struggled thorughout. And his so-called invincibles lost. Trashed in AShes, and in this world cup by a far more superior, and needless to say, the better behaved team. Happy to see them on their flight back

Aam Hindustani
India v/s Pakistan
by Aam Hindustani on Mar 25, 2011 07:16 AM

The Semi Final at Mohali next week between India and Pakistan is the "MOTHER OF ALL GAMES". If we go by past records, India has always beaten Pakistan in the World Cup Games.
1985 - B&H both in the rounds and the Final
1992 - Australia, though eventually Pakistan won the Finals
1996 - Bangalore,India. Remember the famous Aamir Sohair, Venkatesh Prasad confrontation
1999 - England
2003 - South Africa the famous Six of Sachin Tendulkar over third man of Shoaib Akhtar
2011-?
For Cricket and the spirit of the game, may the best team win. Best of luck Team India. Best of Luck Pakistan
