All teams participating in World Cup Quarterfinal have some problems in batting or bowling but Indian teams are suffering from Batting/Bowling/fielding problem. I did not thing Indian team will enter in Semi-Final
Only two teams South Africa and Sri Lanka looks balanced

Out of the 93 times Sachin Tendulkar has scored a fifty, India have secured 56 wins while ending up on the losing side 35 times. Two games yielded no results. Digging deeper, India has won 28 times whenever Sachin has scored between 70 to 99.

Tendulkar's critics will have their mouths tightly shut because the master tops the chart with most number of tons resulting in a team's win. He also has stayed unbeaten the most number of times while leading a team's win. Out of 33 wins Sachin stayed not out 13 times which is more than any batsman in the world..

To add to all these, Sachin Tendulkar has the most number of 'Man of the Match' and 'Man of the series' awards than any other cricketer in ODIs - evidence to the fact that Tendulkar is a major contributor in Indian wins.
To conclude, Sachin's contribution to the game and to India, regardless of what people say, is undoubted and he has more often than not provided joy than agony to the cricket fan. The South Africa match was another instance of the legend putting up his hand and giving his all to the team while the others failed, but can Tendulkar be blamed for his teammates not performing?
WI beats Pakistan India beats AUstralia SouthAFrica Beats New zeland Sri lanka Beats england Semis India beats West Indies South AFrica Beats Sri lanka Finals India beats SOuth AFrica Everybody lives happily everafter Bookies make plenty Cricketeres make more than plenty BCCI officials make more than everybody Long live Sachin-Long live SHarad Long live syndicates
No one in the media has the guts to say it, neighther the Captain.
Sachin walked out when the umpire didnt give him out.
All Indians are singing hosannas about Sachins gamesmanship and how much a gentleman he is; incidentally, Sachin wants the same thing to be said about him as that improves his brand value personally and that transalates into crores of rupees.
Imagine this scenario!
Does anybody know whether it was a legitimate delivery? Not sure, only you would have known when the matter has been referred to the third umpire. What if the third umpire says it is a no ball and hence an illegitimate delivery. Sachin ignored that possibility.
Moreover, had the decision been referred to the third umpire, it is possible that Sachin may have to walk out; but that would have reduced oppositions referral quota by 50% and it would have left Windies with only another chance for referral. With this Sachin gave WIndies their full quota.
By the way, had a Suresh Raina or a Yousuf Pathan did that does the Captain and team management would have forgiven them? NO!
If Sachin is such a gentleman, he should be on the field for full 50 overs while fielding instead of hiding in the dressin room after the fielding minimum numbers of overs needed.
That is why Ponting is great!
He sacrifices himself and his personal reputation for the teams good and Sachin doesnt do.
Ponting fields all the 50 overs not because he is Captai

Rubbish comment.
Sachin has even walked in early matches, one being against Australia in 1998 after scoring century.
He is unlike like Ponting or Jayawardene who stood their ground even after being out, it very cheap of them. Ponting even claims bump catches, he is a crook and not good sportsperson, he is bad example.

Agree on your general assessment.
But you are wrong on the following:
"Moreover, had the decision been referred to the third umpire, it is possible that Sachin may have to walk out; but that would have reduced oppositions referral quota by 50% and it would have left Windies with only another chance for referral. With this Sachin gave WIndies their full quota."
It would not reduce the quota - the quota would be reduced only if the appeal is unsuccessful. WI would still have had the 2 reviews intact.

Mr. Kabeer: If Sachin didn't walk and West Indies made a UDRS referral, if the edge was caught on camera then West Indies would not have lost their referral quota because it would have been a correct refferal by them. Only unsuccessful refferals get deducted.
Try and learn basic rules of cricket before even posting stuff please !!

Many times, the speed of the ball is such that even the batsmen cannot feel the slightest nick.
Secondly, Sachin would be justified if he had stayed on, because the images were inconclusive & UDRS would have ruled him not out.
But then, the Sachin-baiters would say he stayed on for the record; not for the country.

@Kabeer- What are your achievements in life? Can you please name only one thing you have done for the country that made country proud.....even if it was a paid job like Cricket....Before taking stands against GOD himself you better make yourself ELIGIBLE for comments.
Also INTEGRITY is above individual interests and you may not understand that becuase of your current mindset.

If Sachins integrity so high, he should field for full 50 overs instead of stretching his career by taking rest in dressing room.
Ponting rightly commented that this is abuse of rules. No wonder Sachins career is being strectched in the most cleverest manner.
Poor Raina is doing all the hardwork in the field without a proper place in the team.

Harbhajan is bowling fine or blowing fine?
If it is Bowling fine then I beg to differ. He is pathetic. A supposedly star bowler is not to perform part-timers like Yuvraj/Yusuf with ball. Those part-timer's requirement is to contain runs, if possible. However in Yday's match Yuvi turned the ball better than this foul-mouthed fellow. It was the Zaheer's over which frustrated the settled duo that gave Bhajji a wicket otherwise he would have gone barren as usual. Piyush is better than Bhajji as at the least he isn't foul mouthed. Sreesanth might perform better than Munaf and Ashish but because of his foul mouth he isnt being picked in the squad. It was indeed Zak, Yuvi and Ashwin who performed well in yday match.
