how Dravid carried himself out while being dropped dropped from the team on several occasions and sidelined by the selectors. he kept his calm and didnt vomit his frustration in the media unlike the most other cricketers do. great sportsperson!

Dear Gnetlemen, I understand ad as well read in top magazines the down fall of this legend or otherway he was targeted since when he declared Indian Innings when Sachin was whiling his time to get his double hundred when it was NOT necessary. This legend always selfless and plays fully only for country not for personal records. Vengsarkar and Sachin do not like Dravid to come up and also Dhoni. Altogether evey one ganged up to put Dravid down. When Sachin continuously failed not performed for 2 yrs, he wss still taken to team. When Dravid failed in couple of matches he was judged he is not good enough. Then Dhoni was asked to play a game against him. He always wanted younsters in his team except Sachin. This is the end of Dravid. BUT ENTIRE CRICKET WORLD EVEN OVERSEAS KNOWS WHAT IS DRAVID........

well said. It was Drvid who kept the wikcets during 2003 w.c. and ennable ti team india to have extra bats man. He was the chief architect @ other end whenever sachin srores in that w.c. @ the end these bloody bosterds have ditched Rahul Dravidin 2007 w.c. and made his exit.

More than any other cricketer, he is the textbook of batting and fielding. He knows how an orthodox shot is to be played, flawlessly. Despite batting at no 5 he has carved his name among the greats of the game. He was the great wall of India. Virat and Raina too are his worthy successors. This left right combination will take India to cricketing glory. They should work hard at it.
