DRAVID STATEMENT--HA..HA..HA..select nehra
by robbyrocket on Mar 15, 2011 04:20 PM  | Hide replies

Don't ask Nehra why he has given 13 runs in last over. Better ask to DRAVID, why he opted and flash in media Nehra should be selected in playing XI.

Indian Middle Order
by S Shrikanth on Mar 15, 2011 04:06 PM  | Hide replies

Indian middle order hardly got any practice in the two key league matches (Engalnad and SA) as top order took 40 overs of the match. This is very dangerous as middle order is yet to get practice against strong sides and they will be vulnerable.

Re: Indian Middle Order
by Subhash Deshmukh on Mar 15, 2011 05:12 PM
What is your suggestion? The openers should throw away their wickets after hitting first 10 overs and give room to middle order batsmen for practice?. In these days of T20 matches are 10 overs not sufficient to show your talent especially when you have huge score on your hand when you come out to play? In one of the discussions, Sunil Gawaskar rightly said that unfortunately our players forgot the importance of ones and twos and went for heroic shots and ultimately suffered. I am sure our players will take lessons from the past and they will avoid such shots in future.

We are not going to win the World Cup. What we have is an over rated bunch of mediocre cricketers (barring few greats) and we expect this bunch to lift the cup.
May the best team win the cup and India can never be the best with this bowling attack .

BTW, afridi has the same celebratory stance when he picks a wicket, irrespectuive of his team winning or losing

So basically your dead brain is being disillusional as well

Gavaskar, Ravi Shashtri, Sachin Tendulkar are the most selfish players India has produced.

Vishwanath(Karnataka), Vengsarkar(Mumbai), Kapil Dev(Haryana), Mohinder Amarnath(Delhi), Sehwag(Delhi), Kirmani(Karnataka) are some players who never played for personal landmarks.
