Anybody's cup
by shiva on Mar 14, 2011 06:38 AM

Many feel we have won the World Cup. Frankly, there are at least half a dozen who can win! If we lose, that is a fair result. Accept it!!! You will be in for big disappointment to think we have already won the Cup. Life does not end with cricket! Of course, we are the biggest fools as if our whole life depends on it! As if it is a matter of right. Get a life!

AwFOOL Dhoni

Players played for the Gallery ????

Stop cursing other batsmen Mr Dhoni. India were 7 down with Dhoni and Zaheer on the crease, with more than 6 overs to go. Dhoni should have tried to keep the strike rather than rotating it. Zaheer can bat a bit; but he did the same when Munaf and Nehra were batting. Styne was bowling and Dhoni rotated the strike after taking 1 run on the first bowl. AweFOOL !!! How can Dhoni expect no 10 and 11 to face bowlers like Styne and Morkel(with 5 balls left in the left).

Dhoni should have placed in gaps and should have take couples (if he dont have the guts to score boundaries) instead rotating the strike to tail enders.

Was he trying to save his own a** by saving his wicket ?? How very mean of him.

Dhoni realised that things not working; none of the bastmen are able to survive. So the best is to be at the non strikers end giving strike to no 10 and 11 batsmen, rather than getting out and being counted along with other failure bastmen. Post match he said "players played for the gallery and not for the country"

First Look at yourself Mr Dhoni; He is such a mean a**

stop criticising his teammates in public and acting holier than thou. indias best bowler of the day was bhajji and he should have bowled the last over instead of worst bowler of the day. and dhoni should have taken a single to give strike to nehra in front of steyn

Match fixers
by India on Mar 14, 2011 06:04 AM  | Hide replies

India, South Africa, West Indies and and England are all invloved in match fixing big time in Group B.They are all too confident of making QF anyway and they are taking full opportunity to make extra money from bookies. Players involved in match fixing in team India are Nehra,Zaheer, Munaf, Pathan, Kohli, Piyush, Raina, Harbhajan, Yuvraj, Sehwag and Gambhir.

Look who's talking

And Dhoni sir,

Please correct a few things when you are speaking in public because these might create future problems. Specifically, your statements like - "I have come from a small state like Jharkhand where I have seen at times how one loses the initiative. This is something one has to live with."

Sir Ji, you are the captain of the Indian Cricket team sir, not Jharkhand cricket team. Maybe you don't know, but, this team has a batting line up that fears the opponents with it's sheer talent and capabilities. Maybe, you haven't realised it, but, this team has more runs under it's belt than any team in the world, let alone the Jharkhand cricket. Maybe, for a while you thought that it was Jharkhand versus South Africa, but, it was not.
Next time, just to remind you of it, please write it down in bold and big letters anywhere on your kit - "I am captain of Indian Cricket team and I am playing India versus (whomsoever the opponent it)"
Sure that it would help.
Also, the ground is big and they did pick the fielders and ran for twos instead of singles. But, were you not aware that it was a big ground when you were batting - And if it was a big ground then also, why were your batsmen interested in hosting the ball into the stands and in the process get out rather than take singles and twos - Common sense isn't it. Maybe the next time, you can write this also on the kits of all the batsmen - If ground is big, take sing
