Surely he is doing all the right things as Brand Ambassador -so much so that I will be glad if he is out in the first ball as I do not need to see him .With so much cricket I do not see opponents batting anywaywhich saves me from seeing shoddy bowling and feilding.
It is great to see Bangladesh winning against England, their enthusiasm is indeed fantastic. But feel so sorry for England - such a powerful cricketing team producing such miserable performances. They have indeed contributed a hell LOT to this tournament. The performance against Bangladesh was way below their level, they perform so well against two great teams like India and SA, and then perform this stupidly against Ireland and Bangla. I am divided between hilarity and upset. Agnew wrote a nice column in BBC website about the plight of the English cricketers. If England drops out before the quarter finals it would be a great loss to the tournament where one of the best teams dropped out due to inexplicable reasons.
consider following scenario 1.India loses very Badly to WI and SA 2.Eng beat WI by a extremely large margin 3.Sa beat Ind and Ireland but loses to BD 4.Bd beat SA and NED then SA BD Wi have 8 points and Eng and India 7 each In that case NRR could decide the QF placings India could be out, but this looks 1 in a 1000 possibilty.
