For batting improvments...dhoni should play 11 batsman and all part time bowlers...7 batsman due to which 1 bowler short doesnt sem to be doing enough so dhoni should play more batsman

Dhoni does not want to surprise anybody by experimenting Aswin against MIGHTY teams like SA!!
Dhoni Should Go with Spinner Ashwin and piyush chawala should be dropped Bloddy he is main Cluprit of Indian Team.Even Sreeshanth & Raina should be given chance.
look at other captains and look at urself u only know how to blame others and wat a great selection of team keep the main players for ipl hats off to sucha great captain
Yes, Dhoni is right that the batting needs further improvement although Yuvraj's return of form is the biggest plus. The match against Ireland was most useful for him as well as for team India.Yuvi was a picture of all concentration during batting for the last two matches rarely seen from him before. On bowling front also he seems to have become virtually the only dependable wicket taking spinner in the side.As far as the top four , they are playing well but are getting out against run of play. They should avoid this, especially Sachin who appears to be rock solid among the four. These top four should give a good platform of 170 runs for the lower order to round off around 300.One more area of improvement is Dhoni overdoing the 'slowing down'.It is bit risky as seen against Ireland because Pathan had no problem in playing. If only he had been out then India could have been in trouble.Dhoni should play his natural game as otherwise if he gets out cheaply then following batters would have to cover lot of ground which may not be possible always.

seems that, this vaidya is satisfied with the poor stuff offered by the indian team....worst bowling display by the mediocre bowlers.

ramesh, because of the ''mediocre bowlers'' we are no. 1 in tests and no. 2 in odis and that too for a considerable amount of time.
