Right on mate. He was trying to improve the bowling by playing Piyush Chawla over and over again. Now let us see how he goes around improving the batting, which infact is working quite well except Dhoni himself.

Piyush has potential, he needs more work to be more competitive.
He realizes that there is nothing he can do about the bowling. So he is seeking improvements in batting. Unfortunately he is the main weak link in the batting line-up , so he must drop himself of he wants to improve batting.

True. Infact our batting is a weak like. When bowling is the weakest link as many think.. then why to pack the team with 7 batsman.......??????? If the greatest 6 Indian batsman can play 50 overs, India can play with 5 regular bowlers.

gus.. do you know the truth that Dhoni is winning matches all these days due to sheer luck. Absolutely there is no seriousness with 11 jokers. They are fit for add and gals. Actually dhoni is not stupid. we are stupid watching cricket.
sachin and viru should the match serously with out any error . they should give goood partnership and score well so that south africa can not from our country . our players should take revenue from SA of finial match which took in SA just before the straing of world cup .
earlier match he wanted improvement in bowling..he said fielding ca,t improve much and now he say improvement in batting..can one expect this team under his leadership to carry on to finals..a big doubt
we are hoping that india will reach to semi finial . we are that the 1st willplay bewtten india and pakistan . and india will defeat badly pakistan . that will great intisum in indain after that .

rahul bajaj i think u have not watching matches properly . dhoni 's current avg is 45 . taht means he making over 25 . how can say that dhoni is just making 15 runs .

Mr.Rishi, Dhoni was a strike batsman some 3 years back. But, now due to his limited talent, he can never compete in contemproar cricket. Forget about his 45 average. See his statistics in ODI in the last 25 innings including his strike rate. If, you think the last 25 matches is not enough to judge any players capability, then sorry, I'm withdrawing my comments completely.

mr arhul bajaj . dhoni have not done nay thing with players . in last 26 match dhoni avg is 45 runs per match that is bes avg . so u have to fell from our country persons . no dought that our have given u lebarty to write that do not means that will defate the name of good players of our country

Rahul Bajaj, You have not watched Dhoni play over a long period, several matches. He is a finisher and a match saver if higher and upper middle order fail. He should not bat up the order. So also, Yusuf Pathan is a saviour and finisher. He should play down the order with Yuvi or Dhoni. He performs well in that position and wins matches for India.

You are wrong. Someone always is Dhoni's saviour. The current performances are - Yusuf was his saviour in SA. Zaheer was his saviour vs England. Yuvraj was his saviour against Ireland and Holland. So Dhoni has to save someone - and who did he save - Piyush Chawla.

Dhoni was a finisher some 3 years back. But, due to his limited technial ability he cannot compete in Contemporary cricket. So, please dont dwell in past glory.
