If He was good then kumble would have taken more wickets. anyway don't be surprised if you see swiss bank account of Dhoni along with Pawar, Ali Khan and other congis.
Just kick out SRIKANT(Chief Selector) and DHONI, then This Piyush Chawla will automatically out from Indian side. Sehwag or Gautam Gambhir should be elected captain and someone like Sunil Gavaskar or Kapil should hold the post of Chief Selector.

U all are talking about a very succesful captain, the one under whoose leadership, we have become the no.1 test team & no.2 one day team. A bad decision yes, Its good we have made them during preliminary rounds so we can rectify them before the knockout phase, peak at the right time as they say. We are still top of the group aren't we??? Dhoni is I think the best captain among the teams in the current World Cup.
If Dhoni wanted a leg spinner in the side then Amit Mishra would have been a better choice. Connsidering the fact that Amit is a much better spinner of the cricket ball. As far as their batting is concerned there is not much to choose between them.
In all probability Piyush Chawla got selected ahead of Pragyan Ojha because of Dhoni's backing. It is not known why Ashwin was not given a look in for both the matches against Nederland and Ireland. May be he wants to give Ashwin a chance against SA and wants him to fail. But I am sure Ashwin, if he is given a chance by Dhoni, will perform well against SA and he can not be dropped after that. Though many feel that India still is a favourite to win WC I am doubtful as our bowling is weaker than many teams like SA, Australia and Pakistan. It is mainly the bowlers who win matches. It is wrong to expect the batsmen to perform in each match. By law of averages they too will fail at some point of time.

With other spin options like Yuvaraj, Shewag, Yousaf and Tndulkar actually India need not have two specialist spinners. instead of Piyush who i dont know how got in to the India team, they need to go for a third fastbowler - Sreesanth or Nehra- if they are serious about winning the world cup

I agree with you cent percent, my friend. Apart from Zaheer, he is supposed to lead our attack. In fact Yuvraj Singh is bowling far better than Harbajan. If India is going to win matches it will be due to Zaheer and Yuvraj Singh. I am happy Yuvi is slowly hitting his form and once he scores runs against SA and West Indies he will become unstoppable and if India ultimately wins the cup he will bocome the MVP.
i guess dhoni will be more successful in politics once he retires from international cricket.Dont be surprised if he represents a major political party in jharkhand post retirement. The suave manner in which he handles all the questions thrown towards him during the presentation ceremony does remind me of kapil sibal , when hounded on 2G spectrum scam.sreesanth(he was not in the original list),pragyan ojha, amit mishra, irfan pathan & ravinder jadeja are not in the squad is not because of cricketing reasons .if we remember not long time back the players from delhi (sehwag, gambhir & amit mishra)had openly criticized dhoni because of his partial attitude towards certain players. perhaps now we know who they are (harbhajan & piyush). if we individually look into the performance of dhoni as a player he has not played a match winning knock in the last 20-30 innings or so, but still he manages to steal the show by his gift of the gab during the presentation ceremony !!!
Chawla is good for nothing. Pragyan Ojha is far better than Chawla, but unfortunate he is not in the team. Due to Chawla only, India tied the match with England. Any other worst team would have won the match in that position. Dhoni's sue-motto pleading over Chawla's bowling ability during the presentation in India-Netherlands match was unsolicited. These players are earning crores of rupees from Cricket and therefore do not dare to play with the sentiments of 100 crore viewers. There may be secret percentages paid to Captain & Srikant. In future it may happen, viewers will discard Cricket for such type of nasty politics.
