I cannot dare to watch India match when Hon'ble Sir Piyush Chai Wala is bowling.. he is promoting Indianisation by serving Chai to all teammates who are addicted to coke & pepsi.. so what if he cannot bowl.. a good cup of tea will take away all the worries of losing the World Cup... World Cup cannot hold hot tea... so Hon'ble Sir Piyush Chai Wala had brought earthen cups (lots of them) that will hold hot tea... you will forget the count of the number of (earthen) cups he will bring to the Indian Team... besides these will be disposable.. no risk of World Cup being damaged by hooligans (fools.. this is the hidden agenda).. Hail The Selectors for their foresightedness... all Indians are now watching one movie 'Mahi Se Dhokha' alias MSD :).. actually this World Cup would help our Cricketers to get in shape and prepare for the real matches oppps -- IPL.. that is more important.. they will get balls & babes.. So.. to each person who had read my message above... STOP WATCHING CRICKET !! It is killing your time & wasting your energy.. Become indifferent to it as we are to other games !!
No, it is not that.Poor Chawla is not all that bad bowler.Only thing is he has not had adequate exposure at such international stage and so he appears nervous and is lacking confidence.He seems to be totally overawed and overwhelmed by the situation so much so he doesn't seem to be bowling to any plan.He is neither bowling in the right areas nor his line and length is seen to be troubling the batters.In fact leg spinners of even minnows seem to be enjoying success in the India conditions but poor fellow Chawla is not effective enough.In fact the Delhi match was very good opportunity for trying out R/Ashwin but somehow Dhoni let the opportuity slip and it might have helped Chawla with the Dutch coming under pressure.Dhoni's explanation that Ashwin is mentally strong and so he doesn't need any matches is all rubbish.
Harbhajan is playing purely as a batsman in the team now. We do not need the extra batsman. We need bowlers who can get wickets. Since Harbhajan is not doing that he has no reason to be in the team. Piyush Chawla has no place in International cricket at all. The best spinner of country at this point, i.e. Pragyan Ojha is not even in the World Cup team. R. Ashwin has not yet played a match. Are we serious about making a dent in the World Cup? I don't think so.
(indians ) have given to cricket ?? just see SA ,,they taught the world that cricket matches can b won by good fielding and good running ,,,NEWZLAND brought alrounders ,,small peroformers ,, pakistan braught reverse swing ,,,and australia braught good selection policies and hard work at domestic leve but wat abt us ?? w just had few individuals who were exceptions but apart from it ,,w dnt have n e thing different to surprize the opposition,,cricket is not abt just goin and playing in the ground ,,its no more based on natural talents ,,w have to look in to our domestic cricket and bring changes thr so that w can get better results...Inspite of having MRF pace academy in India, we are not able to get genuine fast bowlers..what a shame!

everyone is forgetting that Dhoni wants only north indians in the team....that limits his choice.Poor chap...its not easy being captain.
There is something rotten with the indian Captain. His comments on selecting Chawla for Netherland Match " Chawla needs more practice and time to settle, He is not mentally stable" It seems Dhoni forgot that it is international game and most prestigous tournament of game. Nobody in this world will say such comments for selection. can anyone afford to take chances in any world cup matches. When you your bowler is not confident in his role why do you give him more chances. If that is the case why dont you give more chances who failed to deliver in opening match. Is the rule different for sree? Why did you drop him after one occasion, Why did you give 3 chances to Chawla. Why dont you try out the bench strength againast the minnows. Now Dhoni is planning to try out Ashwin in one of the league matches. ie against SA/WI. If Ashwin struggles against them then he will try to prove that Chawla is better than sree/AShwin..I expect Ashwin to come out in flying colors in any of the matches that he get in palying evelen. Let see what Dhoni will do? I strongly believe that this is complete Politics by Dhoni to back Chawla. He should not forget that he is representing the Country and here we need to have the best eleven to play against any opposition. Let Dhoni Select all Unstable Players from the country and give them the Practice in World cup, Let the selectors and BCCI Praise him for his work.

your reaction to Dhoni's selection of Chawla is absolutely correct,even same applies to karat Kohli. Dhoni indeed does not realise the magnimity of this event World Cup and under estimates the wishes of 1.2 billion people looking forward to keenly the victory for India. It is still not too late.

U all are talking about a very succesful captain, the one under whoose leadership, we have become the no.1 test team & no.2 one day team. A bad decision yes, Its good we have made them during preliminary rounds so we can rectify them before the knockout phase, peak at the right time as they say. We are still top of the group aren't we??? Dhoni is I think the best captain among the teams in the current World Cup.

The point being made is absolutely right though. Our Bowling is very Weak, if we cant defend 339 against England then we cannot consider ourselves to be favourites. The other thing I dont fancy our chances when we are chasing under pressure.
