WHY NO PRAISE FOR BUTCHER YUSUF
by mohan on Mar 07, 2011 11:56 AM  | Hide replies

If Yusuf was out for first ball then definitely we would not have won the match at all. It was only because his sudden sixes. Praising alone Yuraj is not apt. Let the credit go to Yusuf too.

Truly speaking, without Pathan we are not going to win any match.Really why am saying because since NewZealand and South africa our top order is not doing so much to accelerate the run rate except Kholi and now Yuvraj.

167/5 after 40 overs and Yuvi on crease with asking rate 4 runs/over, there was no pressure on Pathan to hits his shots of a below average bowling attack.

If Yuvi had departed and another wicket gone, then Pathan would had been under pressure.

UDRS FOR LBW IS INCORRECT
by shobha on Mar 07, 2011 11:40 AM  | Hide replies

Projection of a ball in the direction thru computer is wrong assumption. No computer can read the swing of the bowl, twist of the bowl, which edge of the bowl has hit the ground and mainly repulsive/acton/reaction/bounceeness of the bowl/wind effect etc. Mere projection of the line from the last point of hit is incorrect scientifically.

I am totally agree with you..
You can use it for No-ball, Wide ball (for height), catches, edges, runouts and stumpings...

I think you should request ICC to remove LBW. Because nobody - Umpire or Technology can determine if the ball was really going to hit the stumps.

sehwag is a key man!
by Mr Bean on Mar 07, 2011 11:29 AM  | Hide replies

yday he failed and the opposition dominated! if he would have stayed match would have been over around 35th over.but finishing the match earlier is not a criteria here, but if sehwag stays the pressure is on the opposition and he releases the pressure from the non striker as well and runs keep flowing!
