In South Africa, you can get away sometimes because of the bounce. You may get away with full wide balls. In India, it does not bounce and finds the middle of the bat and goes flying to point or extra cover for four.

India definitely missing Irfan Pathan
by Praveen on Mar 01, 2011 07:53 PM  | Hide replies

India have not even thought of Irfan Pathan in the squad and presently they are missing him too much as he can bat as well in that 8th place alongwith his swinging deliveries.Still we have time,or else we will be forced to watch the world cup without India

Hearing problems
by sam on Mar 01, 2011 07:48 PM

The real turning point was when our great skipper and his lead bowler didnt appeal for a simple caught behind for Strauss...The match would have been totally different if they had been awake and hearing properly..It was the most bizarre moment.

Sreeshanth
by rilov paloly on Mar 01, 2011 07:43 PM  | Hide replies

Sreeshanth is a wicket taking bowler .. Even against Bangladesh he bowled well ,all the batsman struggled against him.. and most the run was either upper edge or lower edge ..Dhoni should encourage sreeshant and get the result out of him rather than criticizing him on press meetings to please the opposition captain. even if he is not econic but his bowling is capable of breaking any solid partnership.

may be icc should allow a 20 memeber Indian team, so bowlers and batsman from all states/riligions should come? hahaha...what a stupid way to criticise home team..

ONLY INDIANZ CAN DO THIS. LEARN FROM SRI LANKA WHO LOST TO A MEDICRE PAKISTAN, AND YET NO CRITICISM INT HIS MANNTER...
reading so many grand suggestions here, I think ICC should allow India with 77 players... SAHEER & MUNAF BOWLED WELL TOO.

Why cant you see Indaianz choked the british in the last moments, the creeps couldnt score that one run in 4 balls !!

HATS OFF TO DHONI AND BOWLERS. KEEP IT UP INDIA.

BE CAREFUL, BUT DONT LOSE THE MORALE AT THIS MOMENT.
