hero of 1971 tours of west indies and england how ever indian prayed prayers for sad demise of pop star micheil jackson on 27-6 this is shame ful that the best fielder ever seen by indians is forgetten even in his lively hood and after death also. Eknath Dhondu Solkar pronunciation (helpinfo) (March 18, 1948 in Mumbai – June 26, 2005 in Mumbai) was an Indian all-round cricketer who played 27 Tests and seven One Day Internationals for his country. He was born in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, and died in the same city at the age of 57. Solkar was renowned for his excellent close fielding, and his catches helped India to victory against England at The Oval in 1971, the team's first Test win in England. His 53 catches in only 27 matches is the best ratio of any non keeper with 20 or more Tests. He is responsible for one of cricket's most celebrated quotes, directed at Geoffrey Boycott: "I will out you bloody." Full name Eknath Dhondu Solkar
Born March 18, 1948, Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra

I would like to replace both the openers, Kohli & Bhajji with Badri, Rohit, Parthiv, OJha/Mishra. Everybody deserves the chance, if main player is not performing... Parthiv and Dravid can open the batting...

Ashish
While Dhoni might be failing with the bat, he still is wicketkeeping well and is doing a decent job in captaincy. So in effect, in my opinion he is doing about 50 percent work well.
Also, who you would have captain if say dhoni aint playing

Thats a foolish remark. He is simply stating a fact. Anybody will feel bad on missing a personal landmark. What has that got to do with winning a match? And matches are not won in the first innings btw

True. There is no body among Indian Batsmen, better qualified than Laxman to take India to a Win purely on 2nd innings performance. It sure hurts not to score a 100 after coming so close. Ask Sachin and Dravid who have close to 9-10 90 scores. Another great who scored more 50s and didn't convert to 100s was ex-NZ captain Fleming.

I am sure I know better cricket or all sports better than u & ur grandfather. You discuss so many things in forum but simply try to divert the topic if any one discuss about your political guru dhoni failure even if some one supporting it with data/logic/facts. That is trait of all dhoni fans. You are no diffrent from sunil vaidya & mahapapi type people.
Once again he fails to score on bouncy west indian tracks. He can play only on subcontinental wickets. He should be replaced in tests by wicket-keeper batsman like parthiv patel. Also murli vijay has failed consistently on foriegn wickets. Murli should be replaced by wasim jaffer who has a average above 40 in test cricket.
Dear All, Currently we don't have any alternative player for Sehwag in any format, so we must adjust with any new player choosen by the selectors when Sehwag is not available. If ManishPandey prove more in domestic level will be better replacement in short cricket and Rahane will be good in test matches. And in sort cricket we have a problem in finding the all rounder at 7th spot, I guess PaulValthathy will be good as he is a medium pacer as well then India can go with 2 spinners and 2 seemers or else Irfran Pathan can compete for that place if he able to comeback strongly. If Pitch looks good for spinners then Yusuf Pathan or R Jadeja can fight to cement the place at 7th spot.

Yes, but last two players you have mentioned - Pathan and Jadeja are unworthy
