Indian Batting and bowling
by J ADITYA on Jun 29, 2011 07:20 PM  | Hide replies

India always had atleat 2 to 3 batsmen who can control a test match but it was the bowling that always let us down. Understand the reason we have been winning consistently is because very few teams have batting mature for test matches for just this reason having players like Rahul, laxman, Sehwag, tendulkar is huge advantage. Having players like Gautam, Raina, Rohit is a good thing too, but these guys have to come to that level soon and bowlers have to do more work. Our bowling let's say is playing against australia between 2000 and 2008 or Sri Lanka in 1996 to 1997 would be miserable. so bowlers have to raise their game seriously

vvs laxman can score 100 this second innings also because he is very very special for example against australia 2001 at kolkatta he made 59 in india's 157 and 281 in special second innings mirracle of battting.
2 days left for this 2nd test so 90 x 2 =180 overs maximum so ICC & BCCI along with west indies board must start the game 2 hours prior to scheduled time to recover the lost time due to rain so that match will not end boaring draw. 2 hours extra today will give 30 overs more and 30 overs more tomorrow so 180 plus 60 240 overs are sufficient to bat for two teams two innings so best of luck to vvs laxman we all indians watch him on tv or 100.7 MHZ frequency modulation radio channel also please have list of all FM channels
a) 91.1 MHZ,
b) 92.7 mhz,
c) 93.5 mhz,
d) 94.3 mhz,
e) 98.3 mhz,
f) 100.7 mhz-livecricketcomentary,
g) 104.0 mhz,
h) 104.8 mhz

Makya

I have henceforth concluded that you are a low grade quality product which I throw off the window every other day.

You see, unlike you MILESTONES/ RECORDS mean a lot to Professional people like me.

Milestone indicates the growth I have achieved and the time I have taken to achieve.

Records indicate the amount of Profit the company has made off me in time periods like 6-12 months.

Records also indicate the Cost to Benefit ratio I provide.

HELL THIS IS ME IN A BLUE COLLAR WORKING ENVIRONMENT.

When I used to be in sports , Records were something meant to be broken. Because if you don't have a target to Break, you will not grow and you will be mediocre at best

This is basic difference between achievers like me and losers like yourself

I totally agree with you but one thing what I dont understand is why S

Sehwag is not credited that much, though the FACT is he is the only Indian Test player to have ever scored a TRIPLE HUNDRED. (Infact he has done it 2 times. Twice he scored 300 scores in Tests. That requires great patience and amazing talent in Test cricket. Even OUR GOD doesn't have a single 300 score in Tests till date.

Sehwag played very few tests compared to GOD. But he achieved this milestone 2 times.

But belive me, the more u tend to critisize any xyz person, the more it backfires on you. Time to take tablets and sleep. Get well soon Maamu...... How much ever u and any xyz fights, sachin/dravid/lax/dhoni will all get their money from ads/matches/ipl. dont waste ur energy in typing so much. this is my humble suggestion to u. i hope u dont take it personally :)

VVS has played many match winning innings & plays much like Vishwanath who too never got his dues in Gavaskar era.
VVS however needs to convert his 50's into centuries if India wants to do well in England

You are right , This failure of sachin not hitting runs at all happened in the recent SA series too right ? And against One of the best bowling teams in the world right ?

Amazing, there sachin flopped miserably while everyone else hit runs by the dozens right ?

gadaiya you hate the success that sachin gets , because success is a non-existant word in your dictionary

come the boring draw third test. conditions not testing and again in easier conditions sachin hits 100.

same in the odis too. he ran away after 2 odis feigning injury. in the 2 he played again he was a failure making 7 and 24 while dhoni made 25 and 38 both times scoring more than sachin....

sameer gadaiya you people cant stand the success of performing people. you only like failures like yourself.

since you are a failure in life you admire loser sachin and hate winner dhoni who has brought his winning attitude in the youngsters and team india and taking it to heights that it previously never reached even though sachin himself was there for so many years. but he could do nothing. only after dhoni took CHARGE of the indian team that we started to consistently and became an awesome resilient unit...

I wonder what stopped rest of the indian players from hitting a century, making 400 runs in the 3 tests matches. Since they were " easy batting conditions" as per your statement

Looks like you are a poltician who still follows British policy of "Divide and Rule". Or you are those foolish blind followers of these corrupt politicos who divide people on region, religion, caste, sub-caste. They are all same and hands-in-gloves when it comes to looting tax payers money. Open your eyes, wake up to reality else they will loot us and we will be happy figting each other.

Hate to break this to you, but sachin also holds the record of most MOM's.

His problem is that he performs more often than not. Hence the matches where we lose, he still performs.

Where as Laxman performs at number 6 which also means that when India wwins , more often than not he is on the other end.

Not to take anything from Laxman, but has been lucky with his knocks. His knocks seem to coincide with Indian wins most of the times.
