Perfect dude.. If sachin was given allways out.. then how cum he is the highest run getter in the world.. Are u cool dude or ...
BCCI could have said this much earlier instaed of posing like fools to all the world for so long .. and by extension making the world all Indians are like that. Anyway , better late than never. They will come around to the LBW matter also in course of time. Now they are trying to save face.
Re: umpires giving wrong decision
by Against Pseudos on Jun 28, 2011 05:42 AM
No. The fact that West Indies lost the match proves that Umpires gave wrong decisions against West Indies.
Remember, WE have used the "Umpires are always against India" excuse for a long time now to hide OUR defeats in the past... ;-)
So kindly be gracious enough to let West Indies use this excuse now... :)
The enormous money gathered from cricket crazy public has made BCCI most unimaginative body. They are simply flexing muscles due to financial clout with able support from selfish personalities like Gavaskar who wants his dues of IPL settled through this route. What has Indian board contributed in this technology that has made decision making better except negative inputs by illiterates likes Sachin & Dhoni who may be great players but have poor academics.

Only the bigoted can call Sachin and Dhoni illiterates. Cricket and the world in general can do better without more bigotry. Do we know more about cricket than those who play it. It's a given that the ball-tracking technology can be easily tampered with. The Europeans and aussies tampered with Hockey making it difficult for the subcontinental players to play. Now they are getting a taste of their own medicine. Indians should not complain on behalf of them, no Stockholm syndrome please

IMF top post is going to Europe. All most all world body is headed by US or West. When English dominate what is wrong in BCCI dominating cricket? Imagine what will happen to Cricket if India is not interested in it? Yes, I do agree that BCCI should not be arrogant.
Re: Re: BCCI should also oppose field umpires
by Against Pseudos on Jun 28, 2011 05:35 AM
But Dhoni never accepts anything which is NOT foolproof, hence BCCI should oppose the on-field umpires... And if non-100% accuracy is acceptable, then DRS should have been accepted by BCCI long back, like how the other nations had accepted it.
The richest sports body Bernie Ecclestone's Formula 1. Formula 1 revenue $US1200 Million Cricket India $US1500 Million Soccer Mancester United $US1373 Million NFL Washington Redskins $US1264 Million MLB New York Yankees $US1026 Million NBA New York Knicks $US543
Without the LBW decisions, whats the point in DRS. In most of the cases, DRS has been used for LBW decisions(May 95% of decisions). If this is not there then whats the point in having DRS. Umpires are taking help from 3rd umpires in case of no balls or catches which are not accurate. Only thing pending is whether is batsmen edged the ball or not. In this case, umpires are doing pretty well so far. I feel 97% umpire decisions are accurate when it comes to batsmen edging the ball.
So now, what are we going to achive from DRS by investing lots of money to buy it. How can the small boards like zimbabwe, NZ can buy this?

When DRS is working, it is difficult to fix matches, Got it???Shame&anti-national action that we a poor country of 1 billion people are still continuing with playing monotonous& time wasting Tests& 3 day matches, etc, May be Baba Ramdev&Anna Hazare must lauch a national agitation to BAN TEST matches&3 Day and One Day Cricket Matches FOREVER.It is time india and poor countries ban Test Cricket& 3 day macthes forever and Play ONLY T20 matches so that millions of man or woman hours are NOT lost watching monotonous test crciket and 3 day macthes, etc. BCCI& rulers are still behaving as slaves of Westerners, shame they have appointed white skinned westerners as coach, assisistant coach etc paying millions of dollars though we have excellent indian coaches like jimmy amarnath, madan lal and so maany other who can do better jobs than foreigners. BCCI and government must NOT allow more than 2 foreign players in each team&that will gove greater opportunity to indians as well. What a shame that BCCI and rulers are behaving as slaves of westerners even now or are they getting huge kick-backs in the deals involving forein players, etc, Millions of cricket fans must not allow our country to be looted again by foreigners&foreign business houses any more.Hope millions of indians are listening&that they will take necessary action to give justice to indian public& i

I didn't read your whole rant. You are accusing BCCI of being slaves to west??? LOL. BCCI has got ICC by the ba||s. ICC dances to BCCI's tune, LOL. Who is whose slave?
Secondly, if you think cricket is a waste of time, then why do you want more indian players to be given opportunity?
Thirdly, only T20 will not make any difference. If there are only T20 matches, then it will be played for 250 days of the year. Isn't is better to have 10-15 test matches a year accounting for 50-75 days and 30-40 ODIs accounting for 30-40 days.

Really like how it is so difficult to fix elections with EVM ? lol. European countries have already banned EVM due to potential for manipulation.

I suppose you would rather watch 22 people running around for 1hr 30 minutes kicking a ball around back and forth like m0r0ns?
And after the 1.5 hrs the score will be 0-0? Even if it is 2-1 or something, isnt it better to watch the goals in the highlights and skip the m0r0nic running back and forth?

You forgot the spitting, head butting, ball(the other kind) kicking, shin breaking in the so called 'real sport'.

Bigben Squared:
Excellent point. We should watch only the LAST ball of every cricket match and Skip the hours and days of m0r0nic running and waving of arms and swinging of bats... ;-)
