read below for entire reasons behind rejecting DRS, etc.
AT THE MOST , WE CAN ALLOW UMPIRE TO SEE THE ACTION REPLAY IN HDTV based on current japanese system available in market(exactly what people see), but say NO TO DRS because the base technology can be tempered, calibrated or manipulated like current process of EVMs. Lot of ghoras are taking performance enhancing drugs, this is what ICC is not checking.
Even the Umpire who are bribed or have allegiance to ghoras support DRS will make wrong decisions in matches on purpose such as to force DRS, but BCCI should endorse ACTION REPLAY ON HDTV as the way for referral.

but sachin is one and only if u put faith in any player in the world then it certainly sachin tendulkar
If BCCI is adamant on using DRS and want Hotspot/Snicko, it will affect India's chances only. Umpires may be forced by ICC at times (not always) to give wrong decisions, so that everyone can accept DRS..This may sound funny..but there are many instances when DRS is not used. Players can have different opinions, but BCCI need to abide by the ICC and accept the present system of DRS and continue to pursue for better technology.
Hotspot and snicko are still technology... They can also have some errors.. No technology is 100% efficient When ICC is using Hawkeye, wats wrong in accepting that? BCCI should not be so adamant, or even Sachin. Atleast it can save some idiotic umpiring errors.

I think you have forgotten how Dilshan used the UDRS against India. Snickometer and Hawk eye is necessary. Sachin is absolutely right here.

Hawk Eye is different from Hot Spot. Sachin is talking of a combination of Hot Spot, Hawk Eye & Snickometer for effective DRS
BCCI is correct, the COP and the THIEF both use the same technology because they are the same. So the tracking ball technology that is used to see Action replay (COP) is based on the same tracking technology as the DRS (hot spot and snickometer) which is the THIEF .
Look at the manipulations by ghoras. All the complaints MADE BY TV commentator about wrong decision is based on DRS technology that they show on TV. They are simulating the ball using DRS based technology. So how cleverly angrez are manipulating views. it is like EVMS, for demo it will all look good and in the back things can be changed.
Remember how angrez manipulated partition using Indians on basis of religion by using indians of 2 religion.

I guess BCCI makes sense now. All these days I felt they were dragging this issue unnecessarily. I think their point is fair enough. UDRS is more software assumptions, different pitches have different bounces, lot of other factors will not be taken into account by the ball tracking system. So I feel its OK for them to say no. Their request of including Hot spot is really fine, & justice done to the game also. Yes Hot spot technology is costly, I think ICC can afford.

Still it is better then not having it. Sachin himself was the beneficiary of such decision during the world cup.
