Spoungy Bounce.....
by Anurag Rathore on Jun 13, 2011 11:57 AM  | Hide replies

It's only spoungy bounce which can trouble indian batsman otherwise short pitch bowling will help India. Westindies batsman need to be careful against Ishant and Munaf. Both can be dangerous on a bouncy pitch.

You are likely to witness ripples through. Provided that wicket is fast and bouncy.

Good joke. I think you missed the T20 WC in england and WI where he was struggling with short ball. Dont think watever u say is correct..if u like him, then fine..but dont talk like an expert.

I didn't mention Raina name in my first comment. It's you who ignored other 6 batsman.

I dint mention 6 batsmen anywhere. How many 6 batsmen succeded in england and WI T20 WC earlier? All fell to short balls..and your other 6 batsmen also cant do anything, because they are not trained on such pitches.

Why you are mixing T-20 format where you have to chase every bowl with ODI format? How many current batsman toured England in past? Why are you not mentioning Virat success in SA tour? Why are you not mentioning Parthiv success on England tour?

Whatever is the format, if the selection is based on that format..why should I not talk?
How many players are selected based on pure domestic performance in current team? Not many...so all these cannot play in bouncy and swinging conditions in england.

IPL matches with International Bowlers Quota of 4 overs each. Likelyhood of top 6 batsman plat 6 bowls each with field restrictions. That could be sample real show is waiting.

Once the series is decided, wats the use of bouncy pitches?

It would have been good if its used right from beginning.

Can we smell something here?

May be...the BCCI had an agreement with WINDIES board and in return they cud get some monetory benefits. Such a boring and one sided contests are a result of this, it seems. Gayle is not considered...slow pitches...etc

Also, in the recently concluded West Indies-Pakistan series

1. Gayle did not play. (India, by the way, are missing more than half of the team that played in the World Cup finals)

2. Matches were played in slow pitches.

Right,
If they were allowed to play right from starting, result would have been different

Yes, Why they are not included?
Why the wickets are slow?
Answer my questions.

Any team can beat India. Dont be complacent.

Chris Gayle and Chanderpaul are not included due to internal politics.

Darren Bravo played in at least one of the first two matches, but it didn't make any difference.
