sachin overhyped

once againt it is proved that sachin is overhyped.

india won against NZ odi series 5-0.

india are leading odi series against WI 3-0.

all these matches sachin was not there. still we won all matches comfortably.

for too long there was a myth going around that only sachin can win matches for india. that sachin was a one-man army and all other indian players are useless.

time and again it has been proved that sachin is only a FTB and useless when it comes to winning matches for india. it is always the other 10 tough players who get going when the going gets tough. while all this time sachin wins the race to the pavilion.

take sachin last 2 odis in indian conditons and SA conditions. in india the last 2 times he played against SA he scored century and double century (both times on 350-400 runs kind of pitch). the last 2 times he played against SA in SA he was a horrible failure. after 2 failures he ran back to india feigning injury as it was clear what fate awaited him in the next 3 odis. in both the odis that he played dhoni outscored and outshone sachin.

in SA the only test we won sachin was a horrible failure. while the batting of laxman and dhoni and the bowling of our under rated and over abused bowler won us the match.

u r the most hilarious person i hv ever cm thru in my life. u started again criticizing sachin, bcz u cnt do anything more thn that. u hv written so many times that dhoni is a better batsman thn SACHIN. dhoni's performance outside sub continents proves this.

keep bashing sachin n release ur frustration. n yeah we didnt lose one more test against SA bcz sachin played a brilliant knock. bt dnt worry, u wnt understand cz ur mind is full of sachin hatred.
n ur godfather dhoni scored 56 runs total in that test match which we won, so dnt write crap that we won bcz of dhoni too. n everyone knows wht dhoni did b4 finals in wc. infact whn SACHIN scored brilliant 85 agnst pak n got out at 187 in 36 over, ur dhoni got out after 5 overs. dhoni shud hv played like raina n hd scored 100 runs in last 14 overs. who stopped dhoni to score runs agnst pak ? why did he got out in 42 over ? why didnt he played well like sachin n raina ?

whn u think that u understnd cricket more than warne n richards, its shows ur ignorance n u urself bcm a person to laugh at ...

Vaidya, before commenting on a person please dont consider 2 or 3 matches to decide the quality of a player. Sachin has shown time and again that he's the best. He won India Sharjah Cup with 2 back to back centuries. He took India to the finals in WC 2003 almost single handedly. Has 99 int centuries. When you speak about SA, he was the one India's ship when nobody stayed at the crease. He played a brilliant 175 in Hyderabad against Aussies. Dont take only 4 matches as eg and comment.

anand i am one of those few who do not consider isolated tests or series or matches when commenting on a person. whenever i have commented on anybody i have always considered his entire career....

I thought, time will cure your sickness. But very much sad to know that, not just time, even you can't cure your cheap thoughts.

If I asked you in another angle, what will be your answer?

You were praising Dhoni more.. for his Captianship.. see India Leading with 3-0, that also in Westindies even without Sachin, Sehwag, Yuvraj Gambhir and Zaheer. So what is your opinion about Raina's CaptianShip?

We don't required Your God Dhoni too, If your point is right.
If there is a nice talent pool, Anybody can win. No need of Dhoni at all.

I likes him as a nice Captian. Because we doesn't hate him and also we admire him because he is a simple and humble person like sachin and some other great persons. But you seems like Religious Guru (One God, One Religion). You likes dhoni and others and hates Sachin.

I thinks you are too jealous about what he earned and what you didn't ..

without reading full book or watching full movie, Don't do criticism. Same like that, Watch all the matches and remember all the matches and Just enjoy the Game.

stockstalks, as i have always said here it is only with the coming of new generation players that we have started to win more and lose less. we have to thank guru greg chappell a lot for that. frankly if he was not there as a coach for a considerable period of time i very mcuh doubt whether so many new generation players would have got so many chances to establish themselves. it is thanks to guru greg's new blood policy that we are seeing these good days. thanks to ganguly who brought him here inspite of opposition from many quarters. ganguly's belief that greg chappell would prove good for india has proved very correct.

greg chappell encouraged many new players and his vision for future of indian cricket proved correct. so many players like raina, gambhir, irfan pathan, kohli, raina, chawla, dhoni, and others got a chance to prove themselves. he was the one who brought the all rounder irfan pathan in the eyes of indian fans. he trusted raina and see how he has delivered. kiran more recently said in a tv interview that chappell was so impressed by dhoni that he had predicted even then that within 6 months dhoni would be the captain of indian team. it is because of combinations of all factors like coaches wright, chappell and kirsten, srikkanth and his co-selectors and captain cool dhoni and his magical captaincy qualities and his encouragement of all players seniors as well as juniors that he became a darling of all cricket lovers.

deepu i dont abuse anybody. and never at all even if i like someone. i speak the truth in unbiased way. if you want to believe/not believe it is your choice. i am not mad and i dont hate sachin and those who agree with me will come after me. and there ARE many who DO agree and these include not only cricket fans (who may not have played cricket) but cricket players themselves...

I was wrong for about 12 hours, when reading other posters was misled into thinking that somehoe you grew a brain, got hit on the head , had a brain transplant etc etc, which ended in you posessing 100 more IQ than the 10 IQ you currently possess

But like the saying goes, Dogs tail and 12 years . Alas Gadaiya came back to its original self.

Anyways, whine cry foam, do anything you want. You can only look at the sun, you cannot reach it by any means.

why did you think for about 12 hours that my IQ was increased or that i grew a brain?

What wrong did i say? If something i said made you think that you were wrong then i must have said something pretty silly.

will you do me a favour and tell me what did i say that made you think i had a brain transplant?

if i made some mistake i must correct it so i will be eternally grateful if you could point out my mistake that made you think i had changed for good...

yes 'my' dhoni made 56 runs in the test match that we won against SA in SA. 'your' sachin made 19 runs....

so it seems that dhoni is three times better batsman than sachin...

in that tri series which was held in australia, dhoni who according to you cannot bat well on foreign soil helped india with his consistent batting and helped us reach the finals and win it.

For your information in those 10 matches 8 league and 2 best of 3 finals never ONCE did dhoni got out scoring less than 30 runs. so there goes your theory that dhoni can play well only in india or srilanka or BD...
