It is really heartening to see the young side do well.Based on the performance so far. It should not be difficult for India to win the One dayers series comfortably. One observation.Although the batting strength on the young shoulders looks good, but the impression one gets is that only Virat Kohli looks capable of playing a patient innings and likely of hitting a century. All the remaining batsmen seem at best likely to hit couple of half centuries and not much beyond that.Yes or No, any comments?

Rohit do have the same chances as well, kohli has the best chance bcoz he bat up the order and he has given the role of playing through out, even badri can do at some extent as well

Its again proved make any tom, dick & harry captain - team will win if it is better than opposition team. Present indian team is better than WI team. it is as simple as that. Captain has no role to play in win. captaincy of dada/dhoni is just hyped by biased media & politicain/regional mindset fans. Last series when gambhir was captain(dhoni rested) India defeated NZL 5-0. agsint SLK dhoni rested in two match India won both matches comfortably (sehwag was cptain). This series also India will win 5-0. Its very clear that team win matches. it oesn't matter whether the captain is raina or dhoni or gambhir or sehwag or patel or any tom. But captain must ensure his place in team based on playing ability. Politician dhoni has big threat from patel now I am sure he will ensure that patel is dropped in next series & some useless wicketkeeper like saha etc in team so that dhoni position is guaranted

with the above logic...captains should not be there only :-) Surely you dont agree...hence there has to be a good captain/leader and an average/bad one. With a bad one, you cant win. Period
Like the 1st game, this one was also more a case of West Indies losing rather than India winning. West Indies really need to improve their standards rapidly, else despite being India fan, yet I find such matches boring, even if India is winning. There is no sweetness in the victory.
tendulkar tried flat bat technique (he hit almost all the balls near him before their hit the gound) against KKR and killed them because his timing was perfect that day (he could see the flighted balls) . KKR main spinner went wicketless. infact, kallis got him otherwise he was unstobbable.
