Times Change

How Asians were targeted in early 2000s when Malcolm Gray was the ICC president and ICC was controlled by Australia-New Zealand-England-South Africa nexus and almost all decisions went in their favour.

I still remember, in a test match between India and South Africa, several Indian cricketers were targeted by match referee Mike Dennes while Shaun Pollock of South Africa was let off for the very same crime.

No one seemed to have a problem with that.

You are very jealous, arent you?
There was no IPL during your time and now you just cant tolerate the current cricketers earning so much. Get a life man!
When CA and ECB dominated cricket you had no problem.

So what
by lee on Jun 03, 2011 12:37 AM  | Hide replies

BCCI dominates ICC and world cricket. So what, let it be because Indian BCCI is powerful. At least in something we dominate. This is a trick bz the foreigners to trigger a revolution in cricket and take the power out of the brown colored people and put it on the white punks.

Split of cricket world
by S Shrikanth on Jun 02, 2011 10:52 PM

It seems the split in the little cricket world is imminent. It also seems like cricket is on the verge of rejection in countries like West Indies, Australia and New Zealand. Chokers SA have also dampened the reputation of cricket in their country and Rugby, Football and Hockey getting more popular now.

So,effectively world of cricket is fast shrinking into India, Pak, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Where were they?
by usha sundaram on Jun 02, 2011 10:18 PM  | Hide replies

When England was "ruling" ICC where were these critics? They kept their mouth and other parts shut scared of the mighty British empire. Hypocrites. ICC depends on India/BCCI for funds. Make no mistake about it.

Exactly. Cricket has been relegated (rather rejected) in countries like England, West Indies, Australia, NZ and fading fast in SA.

So,cricket the game invented by Britishers, is now game of India. So, ICC is BCCI.

So, would you accept that Cricket is being split into two worlds now and you will see only 3 genuine teams (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka).

How would you like it?
