Undoubtedly He is the best ever test batsman India has produced.Whenever he has scored India has won matches or saved matches.There are only two instances where in he scored a century and India has lost(Onbeing recently at LORDs.He is been a real Unsung hero who does his work quitely but has not got the required fame under the shadow of Tendulkar.

He averages 5 runs in south africa and australia and 10 in england. In past 2 years, the only innings he has played is WC final on a dead dew pitch and he cashed in 50 crores from it via advertisements. His technique is poor and he is not a good batsman, more like a sitting duck.
Please advise why he is in team? Why not make Gambhir the captain who is a lot more aggressive and a 100x better player.
Also why are Raina, Yuvi, Bhajji are in test team?
