its high time you perform. Stand a little closer to the stumps. Too many catches are dropping short cos Dhoni stands too far and the slip cordon follows suit. Also, Dhoni should come ahead of Raina/Yuvraj and let his bat SILENCE his critics like yours truly. Dhoni is woefully out of form but the first step to success is to mentally admit that things aren't eht way it should be. He has good ability but somehow his strategy of scratching around instead of going for his shots when the opportunity presents itself is not helping the team's cause. He should also pick up Sreesanth (can u recall the last test in which he was a total fiasco) instead of the unfit Zaheer, drop Harbhajan, and even Mukund. Get Yuvi, Mishra in. This is India's last chance to save their proud number one ranking.
He will take at-least 7 wickets....pukka...Don't discriminate against the poor boy...give him a chance...he is India's best pace bowler after a FIT zaheer.
possibly after a fit Zaheer. And he was dropped from the team. Now the decision is haunting the Indian team management especially captain whose personal contribution to team is diminishing day by day in test matches at-least. Even in the WC, he managed just one good knock but luckily it came in the final. I think the pressure of captaincy has got to him. Make Gambhir test captain. This way Dhoni will have to perform better than Dinesh Karthick and Parthiv to remain in the squad.
Go with 4 pacers.. Yuvi and Raina can take care of spin. Bhajji is not effective. Drop Mukund. Else Mishra is not a bad option either. Get him in place of Sree..

playing munaf over sreesanth??? Just check the latter's record in tests. Two tests in SA that India won in last decade were because of him. Have u seen any cricket match? Forgot perhaps that mr Munaf Patel got only one wicket against WI in two innings
Munaf patel must play all remaining matches.. I re-iterate, He is the only after zaheer most defensive, accurate, less risky compare to any to other bowler... not many knows how he cooly and silently perform in world cup...
if india is to win series, the team must come hard...
replace Mukund with Yuvi... yuvi may not perform best... but must take chance if he does... because mukund is not going to seems play solid contributer...
Sreesanth at all cost should not given chance as it is very very risky...and top of it we have already lost one match...

have you played any match.. why sree is out of team ...can you tell me first.. this is what problem in india... now they can not replace praveen because he got wickets...
you have to go with long term consistency... did you see the practice match before the series... over all munaf wiill be economical and least risky..which is very important in test matches too...

rp singh has proved that he is incapable of playing this game at the highest level. he is only fit for ranji and IPL.

dhoni and raina bowled to prep up the run-rate to mess up india chances has to be reviewed.
that fact being, angrez played with 15 players , 2 umpires (and those from ICC told them to put dhoni head on the radar for slow rate), 1 automatically rigged DRS and 1 injured zaheer.
look at how umpire assad begged england players to not step on the pitch and they just scoffed him away .

RP singh has lot of positives in his attitude, we need it. I have feeling that both munaf and sresanth can be taken to nets. we need a backup plan.

Plus he is from UP... which has not been as good as Mumbai in Ranjis but hey he is from UP.
