anyway that is lara's personal opinion, there are dravid and laxman who are better than sachin....
just because sachin has played more tests and more years his record seems bir...actually it is only ''quantity'' record. quantitatively he may be the best batsman but there are many who play better innings than him in difficult conditions. scoring well when the target is between 280-340 is more important than scoring when target is between 180-240...
all sachin centuries have come when bowlers had restricted opposition to between 180-240...what's great in that? we would have won without his centuries...
whenever we have scored more than 300 runs and won it is always other who have scored well and sachin has failed...
rediff had published a list of 10 odis where we won scoring 300 or more while chasing. in those 10 odis sachin had only 1 score of 50 plus still we won...

dhoni ji has never scored any significant run (i mean match winning inning) when india chasing 300 plus against quality team like SA/Aus/Eng etc. sachin has done it many times in past. even when we chase 324 in natwest trophy- it was sachin quick fire start which ensured india victory well finished by yuvi/kaif. Even in wcup q/f against pak chasing 289 runs- it was sachin quick fire 98 runs which ensured india victory. Even in traigular series in Aus - it was sachin back to back near century ensured india chase. Who can forget his classy back to back hindred in sharzah while cahsing a huse score. Most of his match winning effort outside india. On the other side dhoniji has never played a match winning inning even in ODI outside subcontinent chasing a big score.

Sachin's SO CALLED "Greatness" has been RIDICULOULY Exaggerated by ALL former and current players. 14692 Runs in 22 Years 171 Test is BY NO MEANS Great. Dravis has 12332 in 152, Pointing has similar in 151 Teast . It is simply that Sachin has played 22 test( 44 innings) more than Kallies Dravid and Pointing and ahead by 2300 runs. India is Rich country at least Cricket wise, hence it is NO Surprise that every body wants to endorse Sachin. Possibly they are getting dollars to do that. Sachin is SO SELFISH that he has Never praised any other circketer as recipreocation and good will. Her has No Good manners even !!!! Just as good manners ,he should have reciprocated same words with respect to Dravid Jack Kallies and Lara , They deserve equal praise. Never seen Sachin praisng other sporting greats world wide !!. Sachin IS Absolute selfish and Hungry person for personal Praise. Does NOt deserve to say "Hats Off"

The unnecessary accolades for a person who has achieved all in sporting career must be nothing but embarrassing.Why do these players who too have legendary status need to pat each others back for scoring brownie points? Lara can get into Mumbai Indians even without doing this.

Only a foolish like u can think that Lara needs to praise Sachin to get into the team..I dont understand all this crap..In today's times MSD is as big an icon as Sachin..Sehwag is up there too..Still the people like Lara, Ponting, Warne, Wasim, Sir Viv and lots more who know cricket much better than any idiot commenting here always put Sachin at the top. This is simply because Sachin is the complete package in batting that has ever been..On his day he can be as devastating as Sir Viv (as we saw a number of times when he batted with strike rates over 120) and on another day he can bat like Dravid as well). Lara and Sachin have mutual admiration towards each other. Lara has been the closest to Sachin during their era. So stop ur nonsense remarks.
