Well crucial matches both fail. So not a solution. And sachin can score far more than yuvraj in conditions that are good for batting.

The balls moves around in english conditions and that is praveens strength. So definitely.

Above team is good, I think for first test no confuse, he can go with raina, for his show in westindies. Sehwag is not playing the 1st match, so give yuvi a chance, to prove himself. After come back of sehwag only, it will be issue to choose among raina and yuvi,
Yuvraj has more experience of playing in England and is a better all rounder..his left arm spin will add variety. Due credit to Raina,if it boils down to either Yuvi or Raina, Yuvi should be the first choice. Alternatively,if Dravid is ready to open with Gambhir, that will really add strength to the team playing both Yuvi and Raina.

Given the amount of time yuvraj is our due to injury, after IPL-4. I think in England Yuvraj will be short of batting practice. As far as raina is concern , he has been playing non-stop cricket ( All the three versions) for sometime now and after his recent showing in West Indies i dont think he deserves to be rested.

Sorry you forgot to add that , congress led by UPA is busy squandering the country they have great people Raja , Kalmadi, Maran, Desmukh etc who are great people when country comes to thier mind. y not the so called "god" tendlya should open the inningse and solve all team india problems..??? y it is allways dravid must handle the tough and delicate batting situations for team india...??? y tendulkar refuses to cope with batting order and team needs...?? y cant he himself come and bat at no.3 position for team india..?? why allways dravid..?? since tendlyaa played more than 400 one dayers as an opener..!!!! let him handle this challenging opening position in "test cricket"... let him play for "team needs" as an opener....play for the best interest of the team rather than his batting position.... can he do this...??? ofcourse not.... dravid is there for rescue team india at no.3 tendlya is for scoring "his 100's"...
