Dear All,

I am only critically acclaiming Mr. Tendulkar, who is very vulnerable to fierce bowling attack..

over the years we have been seeing it...

So lets see what he is doing in Eng tour...

Old age is not an excuse...

Correct. When Shri MMS can become the PM in old age, when Shri Advani can dream to become PM at old age, then why Sachin cannot play.

All batsmen are. Tendu is equally susceptible to the moving ball. Ad ot that his nerves issues. But tendus image that is made by fans is probably what makes the scrutiny even more.

Yes you are right . As proved in South Africa against the Number 1 bowler in tests , who bowled 66 deliveries and took 3 wickets in 2 spells. I believe Sachin negated 47 of them and that spell is considered the best spell of the year.

Sachin as usual failed by negating just 47 deliveries and allowed the tailenders starting with pujara, dhoni etc to face the 19 deliveries right ?

Record is not importance
by V SRIDHAR on Jul 13, 2011 04:53 PM  | Hide replies

Q: What makes a player called as good sports man?
Ans: When a team is winning because of a player then only he is called as Good sports man.
When a player plays for his record but not for winning then he is just an average sports man.
Conclusion: So I dont think Sachin is not good sports man.
Sports man should not enjoy as playing but should struggle for winning.

Tendulkar is the best batsman of India. If he can't play, then no one else will be able to play, and we will lose.

Laxman is there. Have you forgotten how he alongwith Bhajji proved to be killer instinct to Australian, thereafter Australian cannot rise, and Ponting had to give his captaincy.

Don't worry. BCCI will buy out England bowlers and you will see Anderson and Swann will be injured in return for a sum of x million GBP. This is how we win everywhere.

Just because of one Sachin Tendulkar, does BCCI have to do so many things?

Well you should understand, just because of players like Tendulkar, cricket in India has become famous and hence BCCI is sitting on lots of cash. That doesnt mean that they will buy out every other person in the world.

Even after scoring 99 first class centuries, your comment on Tendulkar doesnt seem to be apt. It requires lots of determination to be there field for 20 years and also make the highest runs and centuries in both forms of cricket is no joke and doesnt require comment from you.

England bowling has improved like anything... does it really matter. Possibly you should see the track records Indians visiting England in the past 3 tours.

So Cute
by Asim Mehtani on Jul 13, 2011 04:42 PM  | Hide replies

He opted out of the Test series against the West Indies, and preferred to leave for England early.

"When I spend time in England, it is different. I get to do certain things that I wouldn't be able to do in India: to go into the park with my children, to do whatever they want to do, whether it be a game of soccer or cricket.

"I enjoy the best of both. The idea is to balance life in India with life away from India, to get the best of both and to be a happy man."

Play till 60
by Johnymera Naam on Jul 13, 2011 04:40 PM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar should play till the age of 60, if fit. What is the need to retire if you are making runs for the team?

Re: Play till 60

Correction. Making runs for himself. There is a difference as his runs seldom matter to the team. If he scores 100, India wins by 200. If he scores 0, India still wins by 200.

That is heartening. Let him enjoy when he is playing India and take only Mumbai Indians seriously. What does he mean by he will enjoy? He has been enjoying at his foolish followers' cost all his life and these fools will always remain fools. No hopers in life.
