That shows how ignorant u are...You people always compare everyone with Him. If a dog plays cricket for 22 years, it wil also be tht much popular.

If you want a better batsman, I guess there are lots of ppl like that. Just take Suresh Raina. He might not so gifted as Sachin is... but nevertheless he is turning out to be good. Also, Manoj Tiwari and youngsters like that. The thing is, I don't even mind Sachin playing for N number of years. But by telling everytime that "I am not playing for records" is something funny at the end of the day. Also, why don't you enjoy your study or work and try to answer your objective rather than planning in a principled way? Just enjoy na.. Come on man..

My point is how can u sell ur prize/gift? Is he so hungry for the money? how much he wants? In August 2003, the finance ministry had exempted Tendulkar from paying around Rs 1.13 crore (approximately $245,000) towards import duty for the vehicle, valued at Rs 75 lakh (approximately $162,600). Now he should pay up the duty as he has sold his 'Gift' and made money..

Why should we worry about his finances? Are we doing this when we worship Sharukh khan or Rehman? Sachin didnt ask Govt for exemption. and if he has to pay back the exemtion he will do as per the rules. If not he will interrogated. But should we worry about all that? If we worry, let us file a case rather than posting a comment here.
In this context, we are talking about cricket, where Sachin did exceptionally well.

You are very much concerned in a country of Quota system. But people have to earn the place in team rather than the mercy of someone.
Azhar came and threw Sandip Patil out. It is not like Sandip patil retired to provide a place to Azhar. Gavaskar came and Rohan Kanhai was out. Dravid came and Vinod Kambli was out. This is how things happen for talented youngsters. Not through charity or quota system.
Sachin is playing as No.1 batsman of India even today. And he has been opting out many times to provide someone to prove. But no one so far created urge for replacing the seniors.

Your enjoyment of playing cricket help us to enjoy the game.Hopefully you will continue to enjoy your game so that Dhoni may become best captain of India ever produced and India will remain it's position as No-01 in test cricket ranking.

Re: Re: .

nope.. he should come down the order and take the responsibility and wrap up the innings in style like Lara has done earlier (now don't compare both.. I am talking of the responsibility) and not just come as an opener get century and say, "I have scored and others didn't" If he is the best batsman then he should take that ownership of handling the pressure.

Sachin did not prove his talent to move up. It was a test to see how he can do. So has gambhir. Why does he need to make way for tendulkar ? because tendu is senior and a legend ? Then it is not talent that is driving it is it ?
