Why Dravid should retire now...lets see
by nice guy on Jul 14, 2011 02:15 PM  | Hide replies

Enough of him. Tired to see his tortoise paced batting. He just cant score quick runs. He should have been kicked out from the Eng series.

2010: Ind vs Aus..Test 1 2nd Innings: 13 (34)
Test 2 1st innings 1 (7)

2010: Ind vs NZ: Test 2 1st Innings : 45(144)
Ind vs NZ.. Test 3 2nd innings : 1 (16)
2010: SA vs Ind ...Test 3: 1st inns: 5 (16)
2nd innings 31(112)
Test 2: 1st inn: 25 (68)
2nd inn: 2 (7)
Test 1: 1st inn: 14 (42)
2nd inn: 43 (109)

Enough..or u guys want some more...U all blind dravid supporters realize.
.time to kick him out.

Remember because of his slow paced innings, we could not go for win in Dominica. Second test also his slow innings with Laxman made the draw. But all say weather is cause.

Dravid..Please take rest. We have seen enough of you.

It's interesting out of all the matches you are talking about please tell me how other batsmen have performed. Strength of Dravid is he succeeds where others fail that is the biggest edge. On the same note, if he was playing slow against team's ideas he would have been long gone. You are a typical 20/20 bang bang type for whom temperament has no value. But best of cricketers performed well in Test matches and Dravid played a crucial role to make sure India is #1 in test. He may no longer be the match winner but he is surely saver and that is enough in test cricket. At least in any recent past Indian batting in test never collapsed miserably large part of credit goes to him.

One of the main reasons why we have won the series in west indies is due to dravid and laxman's batting

sameer,

one of the main reasons why we won the series in WI is due to sachin not being in the team. imagine if raina was not there and instead of him the loser sachin was there...a scary thought...

see how a good batsman in place of loser sachin makes a difference...

Kiddo Sunil Gadaiya

grow up . Look at the bright 5th graders who have grown up so much faster in 10 years than you have in your entire life.

I understand that being born with a genetic defect is not your mistake, but don't take that frustration on rest of us.

Its not our mistake that we are born better than you.

Why Sachin tendulkar is world best in cricket
by ASHISH KUMAR on Jul 14, 2011 02:13 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar pronunciation (help•info) (Marathi: सचिन रमेश तेंडुलकर; born 24 April 1973) is an Indian cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. He is the leading run-scorer and century maker in Test and one-day international cricket. He is the only player to score a double century in the history of ODI cricket. In 2002, just 12 years into his career, Wisden ranked him the second greatest Test batsman of all time, behind Donald Bradman, and the second greatest one-day-international (ODI) batsman of all time, behind Viv Richards. In September 2007, the Australian leg spinner Shane Warne rated Tendulkar as the greatest player he has played with or against. In 2010 Viv Richards rated Tendulkar as best cricketer ever produced in history.
Tendulkar was an integral part of the 2011 Cricket World Cup winning Indian team at the later part of his career, his first such win in six World Cup appearances with India. He was highest scorer among Indian in 2011 Wcup which india won (2nd highest among all after dilshan) including two centuries & two back to back match winning inning in Q/F & S/F against Aus & Pak.
He was also highest scorer of 2003 ODI wcup when

He was also highest scorer of 2003 ODI wcup when india reached final. He was highest scorer among Indian even in 1996 ODI wcup when india reached S/F. He has record of maximum no. of MOM- 68 & MOM-11 in ODI series. Hence he is considered biggest match winner in history of cricket.
He has max no. of overseas test century 30 which qualify him as biggest test cricketer. He along with Laxman, dravid. Sehwag & Kumble was the major force to make India no.1 in test cricket over a period of time.
Even in IPL(T-20) he is 2nd highest run getter & hold max no. of MOM award .
He is selected in ICC dream ODI team announced in May 2011. He is also shortlisted for ICC dream test team(of all time) to be announced very soon.
He is undisputed king, record breaker & match winner in history of cricket.

fail in crunch situation...like dravid failed when india allmost lost to B'desh and Tendulkar saved it and won it with a century or when SA last visited India the only man who scored a century when required most in the second inings and the following test when he scored a century and india tied the test series at 1-1 and where was ur dravid whaen styen and morkel spitting fire in the SA series, sachin scored at an average of 80,saved the last test and indai's no.1 ranking where dravid came back scoring at an average of 18.The point is all of them are great players and have performed in different conditions and different times,so if u keep talking rubbish, nothing gonna change.BTW,Sachin has 7 centuries in one-day tournaments finals where nobody has crossed 3 and dravid...better not to talk about him here.BTW, in test sachin is the best batsman in last 3-4 yrs and dravid not even amongst the best 15

Expert view of sachin
by ASHISH KUMAR on Jul 14, 2011 01:57 PM  | Hide replies

Former England captains Michael Vaughan, Nasser Hussain, Mike Atherton and Graham Gooch have warned that even at the twilight of his international career, Sachin Tendulkar is the biggest threat to England when they take on India in the Test series, starting July 21.
"Sachin's a different player now from 2007; the best players in the world change little things about themselves to keep themselves in the game.
"In the last two years he's become more aggressive, he's gone back to his old way of trying to score when for a period he tried to survive," Vaughan told the Cricketer magazine.

what matters is what these england ex cricketer(expert in field) think about world best batsman & biggest match winner.
Who cares for comment of few low IQ & politicaly motivated dhobidogs like sunil vaidya, varun, asim, hypocrite, insaniyat ke dusman etc

We know what a quality player Sachin is but we are not focusing on him. He will get just as much or as little attention as any one of their other players because they have quality from one to 11. They are not a one-trick pony," Strauss said.

Indians must keep away from ball outside off stumps other wise same old story of 1989 test series when Graham Gouch smash hit 333 and 123 total 456 in single test world record may reapeat because these pitches r not dead pitches as Indian IPL
