captaincy hype in team sports like cricket, hockey, football etc is not talked anywhere in world. It hapens only in india because of political mindset of people so that they can justify even medicore like dhoni in presnt & ganguly in past. Though i agree ganguli was atleast better than dhoni as a player. People remeber player like maradona, pele, dhyanchand, messi, bradman, sachin, richards etc & name of winning team like spain etc. No one care who was the captain of that team.

people like you pnly support coward team which cant go for a chase, if they have still overs left. You find always excuses for that. Did I talk anything abt girls?

In second test match dhoni declared on 269, and one point it seems that WI will win, but due to his clever captaincy, he did not allow WI to win. Declaring on 269 and giving 280 to score in 80 overs was a coward step or it was a brave step.

Thats the minimum thing any captain has to do, otherwise why hes a captain? Thats his job..he should have done that.No praises for that. Why he did not repeat same thing in NZ tour? He did not declare and continued to pile runs, fearing that 1-0 win wil go. Is this not coward? Time and again Dhoni is not interested to take risk which is true.

Always offensive cannot be wise decision. Someone has to be defensive as per the circumstances. The circumstances is self explanatory, no need to repeat again and again.

even in SA series- dhoni opted for a safe draw in 3rd test while any aggresive captain could have gone for kill/win.
