1. Virender Sehwag (Explosive) 2. Gavaskar (Superb Technique) 3. Don Bradman (the name is enough) 4. Brian Lara (Ability to play long innings and demoralise the opposition) 5. Sachin Tendulkar (though a little down the order, but the genius would be a handful at any position) 6. Gary Sobers (a dream all rounder) 7. Adam Gilchrist (arguably the greatest wicket keeper batsman in all forms of the game) 8. Wasim Akram (if he can control his lust for money through match fixing, then he can be a handful for any batsman. Also being a leftie will give variation to the bowling attack) 9. Shane Warne (the greatest bowler of all time) 10. Michael Holding (sheer pace and the ability to bounce the ball even on dead pitches) 11. Glen Mcgrath (king of line and length)
Tempted to include Kallis, for being a great batsman and very decent bowler. Surprised to see Dravid's name missing. In my opinion, Dravid is better than Gavaskar, on any give day. But then my opinion doesn't count and hence can only post my comments here.

Malcolm Marshall was way better than Holding on any day. Dennis Lillee could do what McGrath could and much more.

I would say that all the players are great, and some of the great players couldn't make it to the probables list.
