if the match was analised the entire four innings never ever crossed a runrate of max 3.3 so how can mr. Bedi say that we should have won 3-0 is he not aware of the run rate. Further all of us are considering west indies a weak side but add the home advantage plus all major players rested from our side and the most important aspects of rain and umpire in first two tests.

so shudn't we have tried to lift the run rate? u are just stating the obvious. The question is why we cudn't or didn't go for the win- there appears to be no clear logical answer to that!

correct the stats that we never ever have bet west indies in their home soil 5-0 so mr. Bedis heroics are non existing. And in his time he was great no doubt but it is necessary for him to respect the other players. Even a great spinner like him was not able to cross 300 wkts so 400 is huge for him.

This joker, Bedi, was a defeatist and would ask the batsmen to down the shutters even though India was in a winnable position. He is talking about the approach of Dhoni. Let one former cricketer talk about anything good about this joker and I will rest my case.
These guys will sit on the expert panel and speak about every ball/every stroke and forget the blunders they committed during their playing days.

A 1-0 win against a side who at some point of time were ranked lower than even Bangladesh is not good enough for a world no.1 side…any good team worth its salt would have won this series 3-0….remember how Australia used to win matches in their prime…remember how they used to completely destroy their opponents in 4 days…complete whitewash…14 matches on the trot…if Dhoni is so good, if the Indian team has been so successful because of dhoni as the media wants us to believe, he should have been able to lead india to a more convincing series win...instead of doing that, the media is cooking up new LIES to praise Dhoni…and the gullible and complacent Indian fans are lapping it up

Dhoni was pretty useful a wicket keeper batsman because for a long time we did not have a keeper who could bat…but let’s face the truth guys…he is no gilchrist or sangakkara…he is average or may be good but not a great as the media hype around us would want us to believe

And success as a captain is sheer luck not beacause of any leadership skill or "cool" captaincy as the media tells us...dhoni has benefited as captain because of the talent in the Indian team...look at all the batsman who have performed in the last 2-3 years one time or the other...gambhir, sehwag, sachin, zaheer, yuvraj in WC, etc....IT IS NOT BECAUSE OF DHONI

Dubeyji, The team that went to Windies was not the world number one team. This team desrves to be ranked even below the Windies due to its apprentice players.
He doesn know anything apart from critising others..his flighted delivery of the past would have reached the flights travelling in the sky,if he had bowled the same tdy
If we had viru in team and if he had baated all these over then and only then inida had a chance chasing the total. Else we stood no chance chasing them.
people have a short memory.. we hardly used to win much before some years abroad..now we are winning so much and are at the top..yet this armchair complaint box bedi does not fail to crib emotional atyachar

others should be scared? that was the same the the Aussies when they were on top. their attitude was so bad that their own people hated them. Dhoni did the right thing by settling for a series win. Had he risked and lost it would have been more embarrassing. more over we did not have top five players.
