1. He was not under the impression that ICC could take such a decision. 2. Released funds are surely misused hence causing the delay. 3. He is worried about any investigation that may be posed on him to find out what were the crucial reasons for the delay. 4. He was expecting more funds to be released in crores for completion of work as the venue was already fixed and renovation was taken up. 5. He ignored the entire city's craze about cricket and forgot the ethics of cricket. 6. Only those will shout who will have done wrong and to cover their faults, gain public sympathy.

Unfortunately in India we do not take congnizance unless a shock is given. Was CAB sleeping till this time? Why timely actions were not taken to see that the stadium is ready for the matches? Dalmia seems to have learnt nothing from the CWG fiasco!!! In fact if the other stadia in India are not ready all the matches should be taken out of our country, then only the administrators in India would learn the lessons.
