Can we imagine a worldcup without a match at lords or melbourne if hosted in england or australia respectively? Eden Gardens falls in that category, everyone wants to play in Eden becuase of the sensational ambience it creates(barring a couple of exceptional cases), it's a thrill to watch as well. Now, it's very frustrating not to meet the deadlines or taking it lightly. One can certainly punish the organisers/CAB etc may be in monetaryterms, but for the sake of the players and spectators, lets give them one last chance to host the match at Eden Gardens.
Despite dalmiya being a good administrator he thought that Sharad Pawar being the head of ICC he can do anything and will get away.I am glad that ICC has scummed to any pressure. All these guys will never learn from anything.YES WAS DALMIA AND CO SLEEPING TILL DATE.LIKE SURESH KALMADI EACH AND EVERYONE SHOULD BE BROUGHT IN PUBLIC AND GIVEN A THRASHING,SO THAT ADMINISTRATORS DONE TAKE COUNTRYS PRESTEGE FOR GRANTED.GIVE THEM CAPITAL PUNISHMENT.

There are 5 or 6 more stadiums which are yet to be complete, why the axe has only fallen on Eden Garden. This is the result of fallout between Dalmiya and Pawar. I agree with you fully that these administrators are to be chucked out immediately
Kolkata's loss Bangalore's gain.By the way there was no good matches at B'lore.Lucky this time they got Eng Vs Ind.It will be a good fight between Batsmen and Bowlers at this venue.Neutral ground and whom ever plays well will win the match.Always B'lore matches are nail biting finish and look for the same result.Good Luck to India.
