No doubt Sachin is a great player. But he is not the only player in the team there are 10 more. There was a sitation when India was totally dependent on Sachin, But since 2001, Others like Draid, virus, VVS, Sourav did rescue India many a times.
no ... laxman dravid dada tendlya srinath kumble they all were great but not won any single world cup in india or abroad now why we hue and cry abt their inclusion ... the truth is we are bunch of hyprociete people who just know one thing that is to critize and remove our daily frustrtration on this forum and on cricketers as we are been looted by the political party we are insecured abt our future alas bash the cricketrs and be happy
Now the Selection committee include, LAXMAN & Dravid, THE SAVIOUR OF INDIAN CRICKET, FOR THE forth coming world cup.Im, sure, even now they have a ability of turn the match. One should know that we do not have enough strength to bat all 50 overs. Without Laxman or Dravid this is not possible. This will be a weak point for India.

i agree with you .they shuld include V.V.S.laxman at least he is best ou there for us ,and he deserves a place in WC ,he nvr played WC instead of him they took Hemant badani what happend they were out in no time,same thing ganguly repeat in 2007 dropping laxman what happened against AUS we lost.

BTW, did you check Laxman's ODI stats before writing this? FYI, his average is 30.76 with strike rate 71.23.
I found these comments from strange from laxman.. That he has not mentioned Sachin being factor among other factors he listed why India are hot favorites.... and second point is... He says openers Sehwag & Gambhir play a major role.... Hello Laxman... FYI Sachin is our opener for ODI and without him we can just dream of winning world cup... And ODI is not about saving games by relying on tailenders...
