Real problem

The real problem behind Eden match being shifted lies in the cement used for renovation.

BCCI Secretary N.Srinivasan had suggested that Cormandel Cement (India Cements brand owned by Srinivasan) should be used for all world Cup renovation works.

The cement used in Eden garden renovation was Dalmiya cement, a brand owned by Jagmohan Dalimya's Companies. This was not liked by Srinivasan & citing delay in completing renovation on time, he influenced ICC to move the India-England match out of Eden.

As people may suspect his hand in moving the match out of Kolkata, he moved to Bangalore rather than Chennai. But Srinivasan succeeded in his prime agenda of moving the match out of Eden for not using Cormandel cement for renovation.

that's because, they have only 2 or 3 stadiums which were being used for international matches and it is not too difficult to do it. Also, they may not have done too much of renovation, just changed the quality of seats etc. some minor changes whereas, in india there are as many as 15 to 20 international stadiums and it takes time to get it ready because they had demolished some parts of the stadium completely and are rebuilding it.

I don't understand why you people write much about cricket. It's half win for india if the match organize in delhi and mumbai because of satta and bookies. Atleast kolkatta is free from bad fame. If this match play in delhi northern india or mumbai it's great help for this last mach for india. It's true that delhi and mumbai are hard labourer, ( lies, killed the alive person with petrole, satta, bookies, false saying, sell false visa, false educations etc. etc. ...........etc.) Yes Dalmiya know from a Astrologer that ICC president Power give some lame excuse and cancell the venue. It's the shard power that change the BCCI from west bengal to mumbai. You get anything buyanything from money but not buy education ( kerala, Westbengal) this is the difference from otherparty of india and mumbai.Bengal CPM is responsible that they request for cricket what they hell if it's not arrange in eden. there is no bengal or kerala player from this team.

its done deliberately cause except for the Ind-Eng match the other 3 are lousy ones. So net loss to CAB. They will rather get it ready by IPL where the money will pour in. As a result of the Pawar - Dalmiya politics, loyal EDEN spectators suffer, but in reality which administrator raking in the moolah gives a damn for the comman man!

Such a project will NEVER EVER get delayed in Mumbai. Becos Mumbaites are hardworking ppl and Kolkatans are not.. thats the truth. If you go anywhere outside India, they recognise Mumbai as the capity of India and not Delhi. Just like many ppl think New York is the capital of USA and that Sydney is the captial of Australia. All these great cities have a never die attitude and its these great cities like Mumbai which provides living & earning opportunity for all other citizens of smaller cities of the country.
