Its disheartening to see Eden one time Mecca of Indian Cricket treated very badly by its own people. I hope its time for people of Bengal to rise for their honour.

YES...THEY WOULD BE QUICK IN PROTESTING AGAINST GANGULY'S OMISSION FROM THE IPL ..Y IS NO ONE PROTEST AGINST THE C.A.B FOR NOT GETTING THE STADIUM READY IN TIME..WHAT A SHAME..
Now Kalmadi can breathe that at least one minister (Mr Pawar) cannot point out him... he must be teasing Mr Pawar by saying... "i at least completed venues in time"...loll But bottom line is that...m ashamed as an India...

it has nothing to do with west bengal it is the prerogative of bcci or the cab.when the common wealth stadiums were not ready then why u didnt blamed the whole indian government and why just suresh kalmadi or the ioa?
Shame on you BCCI for placing India in negative light again! This incompetency is frustrating... If having lot of money doesn't improve our competency, what will?
Some of the Historic Cricket stadiums like Eden Garden(Kolkata) and Green Park (Kanpur) which have been permanent Test centres for a long time have been case of neglect by the cricket associations in these states.
