in the absence of sachin, sehwag and Gambir. However yuvraj seems to have lost his touch completely and i think kohli should be playing in the XI for WC. And it is a mistake for selecting Munaf in place of Sreeshant and i think that is really a concern
The ceremonial memorabilia for the SA series : After a commendable performance in the test series 1st ODI - India loses by a huge margin. Batting collapses, only Kohli stands. 2nd ODI – SA chokes and India wins by 1 run. Indian batting collapses completely. 3rd ODI – India wins a thriller by 2 wickets. Pathan playing for the first time fights heroically, otherwise batting collapses. 4th ODI – SA wins comfortably by large margin. Indian batting collapses, only Kohli fights. 5th ODI – SA wins pretty comfortably after another batting collapse by India. Pathan's heroic knock goes in vain.
It was only a cruel reminder of the ever incompetent Indian batting against a genuine pace attack. The Indian fans had to watch their team reduced to scores like 6 for 120 every single time, only hoping for a miracle to save them. Their team had no less than 8 superstar batsmen among which only 2 performed. And hence the fans are waiting for their team to lift the world cup.

We dont want such loose talks. If we can do it then well and good. Else dont waste time till the start of wc pondering whether we can win it or not. It happens always before the start of a wc. Experts saying india can win it. Some foreign cricketers coming to india and saying that they think india will win this world cup etc etc. When they are asked by indian media, they will surely nod their head in the affirmative as they know what answer the media and the people here are expecting. Why on earth we care for such comments when we know that indians generally dont have that in it which helps them win major tournaments except the saurav led side and the kapil led team or the 83. So just patiently wait till the wc and self analyze whether we can progress or not. These sort of rubbish talks doesn't give us any bonus points going in to the world cup. Just watch the world cup. If they can make us proud , then we will celebrate. We will relish it. But mere words wont do anything for us other than wasting time.
