yes...Sachin wasn't in the team in 1996 and in 2003 WC. There were some brilliant batter in the team than likes of Dravids, Gangulys, Azhar's, Sehwags, Rainas and Dhonis who performed the best and made the semi final and final! I think..there was a ghost also in the team who made some 530 odd runs in 1996 and 673 in 2003 world cup!

I dont think we'll ever two specialist spinners unless the wicket is extremely spin-friendly. I would pick Pravin instead of Chawla

depends on conditions, we may go with two specialist spinner but I'd go with Ashwin instead of Chawla and Parveen instead of Nehra! In case of Three seamers, I'll choose Patel again but not Nehra! He's bleeding runs like hell!

why you peoples are missing virat kohli.The Team Should stand in this way, 01)Sachin 02)Sehwag 03)Gambhir 04)Virat 05)Pathan 06)Yuvraj 07)Dhoni 08)Harbhajan 09)Pravin10)Zaheer 11)Munaf this will be tough batting order to handle.
sreesanth omitted because of dhoni...the secret is that selectors first preferred sreesanth..but in the video conference with dhoni, he insisted that he dont want sreesanth in team..actually sreesanth i snot having an injury at present..its dhonis tactics to stay him away from team..and sreesanth is not able to react because of his future..dhoni is now creating slaves under him for his captain place..he batted for piyush chawla...otherwise chawla will not be in team..before jadeja was his bunny..now he is not selecting and dhoni need chawla..however he need to avoid sreesanth..this is really what happened...sreesanth will tell this to media when he reaches india back..

Sree's exclusion is well thought out in advance. 1. Dhoni tried Sree & Ishant - at the same time : If Ishant is taking one more wk than sree, Sree would have been dumped based on that and they would have picked Ishant! 2. When Dhoni got a chance to show his anger - he did it in front of the media in the most disguesting manner to let down Sree! 3. When somebody from gallery threw bottle at Sree and when Sree complained to his Captain Dhoni, instead of addressing the concern, Dhoni was laughing at Sree to make him further helpless and to intimidate Sree.
4. Sree was instrumental in winning the 2nd Test and Dhoni never appreciated even by a word about it! Instead, Sree was forced to sit in the Pavillion in the next ODI/T2o matches!! 5. At last Dhoni argued to exclude Sree from WC Team!
The above shows, Dhoni was planning to kick out Sree from the team and his plan is little bit old! For quite some time, for fear of Dhoni, other team mates were also distancing from Sree in the team to please Dhoni!
When we have part time spinners like yuvraj, sehwag, pathan, raina in the team what was the need of third spinner..instead of Ashwin we could have Parthiv for a balanced team..
I have first seen Yousuf Pathan playing the 20-20 finals in SA and India winning it. His performance was not all that commendable. Later I had seen more failures from his game than successes, in this context I have doubt about his performance in forth coming WC. I prefer and value Rohit above him and this part of the selection is not liked by me.

Hey ...nobody till now commented on yousuf pathan.You are the first person here.Don't compare yousuf pathan with rohit.bcoz both have very different games. Yousuf pathan can be a match turner.So,we need atleast one player like him in our team. Ofcourse rohit is good player,he should have in the team instead of piyush chawla who is fit for nothing.
where is the second option for wicketkeeper who will going to do a roll for wicketkeeing if Dhoni will injured? why R.Ashwin in this team ?..why we want 3 spinner ....? Can MR. Shrikant will ans.this question for our clarification .B'cus we live in Cricket lovers Nation & WC in India,Bangladesh & Sri-Lanka... I think if we have this kind of team then Bangladesh also win against with India .....

yes sir b'cus i don't understand in which based shrikant choose some of the team members in WC team .. e.g Rohit Sharma is allrouder...& parthiv or Saha is the substitute of Dhoni
