I think it is too harsh from your side to say something like this. He captained India in toughest period coming out of match-fixing and he built an amazing team India. He is one of the best captains we ever had, so my respect for him on that. I am not a bengali but I remember playing for India and leading it nd he did a great job. If KKR is failure that's because he never made to lead properly, the coach had too many ideas I don't think the coach and Ganguly as captain did not have same kind of chemistry that he had with John Wright. What ever be the reason, he is not just Kolkata's favorite son he is one of India's favorite son.

imran what have u done in life ,just writing harsh words for someone who has made india proud yo are a a.. h..l.
3 years he has been incharge of kolkatta, what did he do for kolkatta, it didnt even look good to even compete, being in the bottom on all 3 occasions. so he got the snub for his consistent poor performances as batsman, leader.same could have been the case wit sahcin, luckily mumbai indians came to final last year thanks to pollard..else sachin too could have faced the same fate.

he is the top scorer in the whole team..he fielded well too.. but srk..I dont think he knows how to hold the bat ..and tries to be coach of kkr.. same that chappal..(chapal) did for the indian team..

Dada rocks.. he should get the franchise soon...
its high time saurav knew his place in the cricketing circles... when kumble retired just before the ipl auction after being discarded by the bangalore team, ganguly should have also done the same... now he is acting as if he is innocent and claims he doesn't know politics... it was written all over that he had to retire on his own. KKr finished at the bottom of the table on all the three occasions. ganguly is just shameless.
