It is sad to know that saurav talked about phased retirement of trio of indian cricket. How dare. He should remember that indian team is like a parental property of sachin where he can play with hidden injury at imes,at time he can fake injry and get rest. All these to suit his advertising endorsement requirement to play selectively to be alive, forget about india's chances of win etc. Gavaskar palyed for 16 yeras, Kapil retired after 16 years, saurav after 12,Hayden after 12, Gilli after 12,Murali after 18 yeras,Sobers after 18 yeras. This guy is blocking a place of a young star for 22 years and shall continue to play for another another 22 years to play for 44 full years and retire at 60 years like a slaried person, how dare some one talks about the person's retirement....

Really, how ignorant can someone be Ms BharatDrohi? Isnt he still in the top 10 Test Cricketers ? Didn't he score a 200 N.O just 3 matches ago in ODI ? You think its cool to take potshots at the best and try to sound unconventional and intelligent - but what you dont realize is that its foolish ignorance that you display instead. It can be excused if you were born yesterday or are mentally challenged though .. Are you ? If you want to seek attention by showing ignorance- thats not what i would recommend. The "Blonde" concept has not caught up in india alot. People still prefer smart.

Sobhit u do not give a player to play selectively for india based on his desire. Never know what the result would have been if this facility was extended to Gavaskar,Kapil,Sobers,Murali,Hayden,McGrath,Waugh,Lara,Richards and all. For your record he played first ODI in 1989 and scored first century in 1994.Any other player would have been dumped by that time...

so you are saying he should have been dropped before 1994 ? All the while he was scoring at an avg of 35? Ya , he made a century ot till the age of 21 and since then has been the pillar of Indian Batting. India would never have won half of the matches between 94 and 08 had it not been for him. And yes, special talent need special priviledges. If he keeps performing and wants to play more, who in hell can stop him? Now Get over it - you bore me with sillyness again.

i wish Lara & Waugh would have never retired. I can wonder how many records they would have made. But yes they don't play for themselves but for the pride of country. and further they never said that they felt disturbed because of match-fixing.

yes they did not have enough talent to survive long. because the rule is survival of the fittest. and the people who do not get disturbed by match fixing are the biggest match fixers.

Arvind they do not have ability to fake injury and hide injury as per their convinience. Look he is coming back to inid after 3rd ODI for advertisement work.Is it fair...

Any proof in what you are saying ? Which advertisement work? And how do you know he is faking it? Should he cry in public first - holding his leg ?

I think I must have seen a different IPL. In the version that I saw, I saw CSK beat MI in the finals. In fact, I did not see KKR in the semi-finals. You say that Dada led from the front. I am a big fan of him, and would like to see videos of he "leading KKR from the front" to at least the semi-finals. Please post any links that you might have.

when you have a nothing team then no can do anything ...and main thing that captain of that team was SRK not DADA...
Ganguli why dont u go gracefully?? Its obvious that u no longer fit in to the scheme of things even in IPL. Your team kokatta knight riders has been losing badly for the last 3 years in IPL when u were the captain, plus ur own form with the bat was not that exciting. So why are u blaming "politics" when u are no longer required? WHy dont u accept that ur game is not suited to IPL which is an out and out commercial venture with no space for "emotional or sentiments for keeping an old player". The same thing happened in ur international career. when ur form deserted you, u still said that based on ur past record, u should be picked, how fickle was that. Truth is you never accepted ur failures with the bat, your loss in form or your failure to convincingly face fast bowling or bouncers. Just go gracefully now without inciting kolkata fans

yes. Mr. Joshua Gurion. FYI, the truth is that KKR finished runners-up in IPL 3. Cricket pundits around the world called it one of the most sensational campaigns the world has ever seen.
The grace with which u carried yourself is unmatchable...your presence was itself a celebration....U r the only Sports person in india who can match the popularity of Sachin Tendulkar..There will not be any other ikon like Saurav Ganguly for sure...The Real Prince of india.....Love u Dada forever.
Its sad Ganguly is out! But this is business and money and hence lethal. You got to take that there must be some solid reason to leave him out. As a cricketer he is good but he has to improve as a person. He is on field and off field ego which is apparent and entire India has been watching since Dalmiya time. I would say Sachin's setback was due to this guy for some time. He had a very tense dressing room. Destiny rolled the tables over Dalmiya got kicked out shamelessly and Dada turned his back to him accusing the same Dalmiya. his on field ego attitue never went down. I think he deserves to be ousted.
