Ohhh Mr Ponting

Mr Ponting! Are you trying say that YOU and Clarke failed miserably because the present root of Australian Cricket is not healthy? You mean that the Australian bowlers could not take wickets because of lack of talents at base level of Cricket Australia? Funny excuses.

IPL & Test
by Ramdas Nayak on Jan 10, 2011 10:19 AM

If IPL continues for another 4 seasons, Tesst teams may hardly find any quality players in future. Two inning each with limited overs in addition to day & night matches may attract fans to Test Cricket in coming days.

Australia may take some time to come to top bracket in test cricket even though they may still be a strong contender for 50 overs World Cup.

his arrogance made him fetch this day to him as well as to the Australian Team.

he was so arraogant before the start of the Ashes Series, he was quoting and I quote "The English will face white wash and I'll not be wondered if they loose 5-0".
These people deserve it.

Such remarks by a captain is only to demoralise opponents and also to lift his own team's morale. It is common today to express such uttering which should not be called as arrogance even though Ponting is still an arrogant.

:) So you are satisfied Ponting was NOT arrogant; as you refer to the end-of-the-series facts rather than the beginning of the series Quotes? :)

Australia have fallen from grace because they do not have the right players. You cannot have a top test team with a total of about 30-40 centuries between players(excluding ponting). At the moment Aus have about 3-4 world class players. You need atleast 8 to win tests man..India needs to nurture its domestic cricketers and keep them ready because SRT, RD and VVS wil be around for maybe 2-3 years more. We don not want this situation with us.
