ABHIJIT ROY
Money for the defeated Aussies
by ABHIJIT ROY on Jan 10, 2011 11:35 PM

Australia has been walloped by England, three innings defeat; but IPL is full of unheard, unknown & uncapped Aussies, why? If they had so many talents, why were they not picked for their national teams?
The answer is that FOOLISH IPL FRANCHISE OWNERS has appointed Aussie coaches, who let these unknown worthless players earn huge amount of Indian money, and take some kickbacks!!!!!!
The Indian Government and the BCCI should investigate this.
THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER

De Villiers is 26 and not more than 30. I saw the auction and RCB bid for every single player (Robin, Vinay, Kallis, Dale Steyn, Ross taylor etc) excluding Dravid. So be happy with what you have got. It is a good team. I will support this team irrespective of what.

The uncapped players, Manish Chulbul Pandey, CM Gautham, Amit Verma, Lokesh Rahul will all get a chance to play which is good and will make up the best part of team. It is Bangalore team. So lets support it (unless of course you are a supporter of another team).

Fans Ban IPL do not watch
by Shri Hegde on Jan 10, 2011 10:42 PM  | Hide replies

the matches as the locals are totally sidelined in the so called interest of business. What the heck? How can you get the local excited if you see that your Heroes like Dravid, Utappa and Pandey are not in the team.
This goes to every other IPL team who have dumped the locals and have gone for some retired Australian or a rookie South African.

Karnataka has one of the best talents availble in India, Manish Pande. Nobody seems to be talking about him. I have seen lesser players like Venugopal Rao, Riddhiman Saha, Robin Uthappa etc. being "snapped" up, though I don't know what for. Manish Pande is a player for India sson. I hope he finds a taker.

KK, Manish is not a capped player and hence was not in the auction. Now the IPL owners are going to offer for uncapped players. Definetly Manish Pandey will be on everybody's list. If he had played atleast one international game for India, he would have fethced not less than 3 crores this time. No doubt he is a good buy for any team.

We are Indians and proved to be an Indian. I hope …. Rayudu, the highest paid in uncapped players.
