What is this bullshit about sympathy for Ganguly.All the 10 teams didnot even think he was worthbidding for (which gives one an indication how useless he is) .Are the people who have sympathy for him trying to suggest that sodapop Ganguly shd be taken with Jor Jabardasti?
That does not work and if anyone thinks that way let them buy a team,taken ganguly and see the consequences,Topic is over.

You know last year ganguly is fourth highest run getter. ganguly is one of 7 indian players have in icc odi team probables.
if he was around 30-32 and still not selected than it could be partiality . but see his age around 38 years apart from that he has that unwanted ego which has stopped him from being selected . sachin laxman dravid the latter two are not better than ganguly but are good team members also bcoz of their humbleness and attitude they are selected if the same was shown by dada trust me he was retained by kkr and if not retained by kkr than some one would have definately bought him ... he was a true champion and should go like a champion anil kumble best example ... if bengalis say they want kolkatta to loose if dada is not there than they are definately not kolkattans or true bengali ,,, jai hind and for KKR Korbo Jeetbo Lorbo Re

What were the strike rates of Kallis/Dravid/laxman and plenty of others in this auction bought for higher prices...?...go chk the figures b4 u comment...Also Dada was the highest scorer for KKR last season...what were the other batsmen in the team doing...busy getting out or posing for pics or partying or in worse case sucking SR_GAY's Boner...
without Dada KKR would not cross 120 in most matches...he has been the best performer for kolkata in 2 out of the 3 ipl seasons played so far in an otherwise rotten team...
Its all about making profits and not the 'legacy' or the emotions attached with any player whatsoever. Ganguly is not that good now , even if he scores fifty he consumes 39-42 balls . Thats not good enough . And given the fact that he seldom scores a fifty , he is laying derelict. PITY. But that business for you.
